I live here.

This is compete sensationalizing.

Completelly blown out of proportion by the news media.

I also live here and I say you are lying or you just refuse to see it.?

Explain exactly what I am not seeing - - specific to this subject.

Not from a Right Wing viewpoint - - which I am fully aware is part of Yuma.

There's already "large scale crime issues"

Every single one is breaking our law merely by being present on US soil. Many are also committing "Conspiracy to Defraud the United States" by attempting to make an asylum claim when they are not fleeing government persecution

As I posted in a previous thread - what are the CAUSES for the most recent surges? Illegal immigration into the southern states of the USA is not a new phenomenon. WHY the recent surges?

CNN? For news? Still? Why? I think a news source closer to the topic might be helpful. There are plenty and they all say the same thing, Yuma is overwhelmed by illegal aliens and is asking for help.

www.azcentral.com... 54002/

Ok, I get it, you don't trust CNN. However, the QUOTED the mayor of Yuma, they didn't make up his words.
So I checked for other sources and what I found was boo coo reports on the issue. All the obviously ''conservative'' outlets such as Hannity and Fox I didn't bother with. I found several sources reporting on this issue that I had no previous knowledge of to see what they had to say about it.

I found three that were unknown to me and here is what I found. Each one used as it's source, the Washington Times. So I went back to some of the Foxy outlets and there too I found the Times being the source of the allegations. So even as you dislike CNN, if you cannot hear the echo chamber reverberating the Times slant then you are ignoring a blatant truth.

That a national newspaper owned by a religious cult that promotes extreme rightwing agendas to further their own hopes of spreading their ''word'' to the whole country and the world then you are missing a big issue here. That Moonie Church bought that news paper to influence a fundamentalist agenda that believes that Moon was the Second Coming of Christ his legacy is destined by God to become the new world religion with Moon at the center of all faith.

If you can give that proper time to sink in then maybe we can talk about the perils of CNN. But until then the choice of giving credence to CNN over the Times is a non-starter.

Oh yeah, you ask for a source closer to the topic. That CNN report came from an affiliate there in Yuma. Much closer I think to the story than the Washington Times, thousands of miles away. As well there is member here Amiee who lives in Yuma who has posted that the whole issue is way over blown. I would say that source is much closer to the issue than either of us.

One thing you're not seeing is the typical Phoenix-San Diego traffic. No one I know will go anywhere near Yuma, opting for the Blythe-Riverside route instead.

Hope you like your future local economy. Yuma is turning into a third-world s#hole.

You take pesos down there?

We don't think much of Phoenix.

They are completely out of touch with our local community.

They're like "Picante sauce made in New York City".

What do you think most native Yuman's are and always has been? 2 large Native American tribes - - and migrant workers.

People are going to start getting killed (as if they haven't already) with more and more frequency.

The left will continue to do nothing but enable and make excuses.

They will have blood on their hands, and they better be careful because Americans are becoming increasingly intolerant of their treasonous bulls#.

Then how are their numbers growing? How do they make an election close running on socialism, free handouts, and very unamerican views.

When Muslim congresswomen Omar made those comments about Israel and 911, the donations increased 10 fold.

I keep saying it and at the polling station by me during the mid term election , huge line of antifa lined up to vote, took an hour, then like clock work a huge line of BLM shows up, another hour, then like it was planned LGBTQ next, about 45min. Lines around the block.
After them a large group of muslims.

Very organized , and who do you think they voted for? It showed what the majority of what the democratic party is. And it was not good.

Add hollyweird into those groups, add the newly imported, add the media, add college and mostly all educators and the education sector, I think they are trying to give felons the right to vote?

That's why the elections are so close, normal American citizens are up against that....

The Governor declares the immigrant invasion a "emergency" and calls up the National Guard and state police. Illegals are rounded up and deported back to Mexico. Problem solved.

And the illegal immigrants would only come back. What we have to do is find every organization that is making these "caravans" possible, and shut them down. If those groups are foreign and not from the U.S. indict them with every crime they are committing. Find all the money from U.S. tax payers that is being used to help these caravans, and confiscate the money from people like Soros, who are making these caravans possible. It is very obvious these caravans have increased in size and there are organizations behind the caravans. Shut them all down and don't allow any of the organizers into the U.S. ever.

The Obama administration was caught releasing illegal immigrants who were criminals into U.S. cities, meanwhile Obama was deporting entire families of illegals who were not hardened criminals. To this day Obama keeps being "the deportation Czar..." But the left didn't mind it when it was one of theirs doing the deportations and "puting illegal children in prisons..."

What does it cost to rent a bus from Yuma to LA? I'll pay for one. Where do I send the donation? It's time we take charge and do what the government can't.

Asylum seekers are NOT illegal immigrants.

On January 12, 2019, the People’s Defense Initiative, a community organization, launched the effort to place the sanctuary city initiative on the November ballot. The name of the initiative used by proponents and included as the official title on the petition is Tucson Families Free and Together.[1]

If the initiative makes the ballot and is approved by a majority of voters, it would be the first sanctuary city policy in Arizona.

They will be voting on this in November. Maybe the illegal immigrants should be directed to Tucson AZ where the citizens can get a first hand experience at how their lives will change. It might make a difference on how they vote on this initiative.

Your.wrong....Google Obama changing the definition of deportation.

Obama changed the definition to alter deportation statistics. It was a play on words to make it look like he was deporting when the fact was he was importing. ..more then ever

The problem with that is they migrate to other states and become impossible to track.

So, we build a wall around those sanctuary cities so they cannot come into the rest of the country without a legal passport or proof of citizenship. Hey, that would be a good idea, make a concentration camp out of sanctuary cities. Americans who want to live among them can live with them.
