They just launched 40 more mice to the ISS. It's getting busy up there! :-o

www.extremetech.com...

Around half of the cargo on the Cygnus is scientific equipment and materials, including the mice. The rodents are part of a study on a tetanus vaccine. The mice are split into two groups, one that will get the vaccine and another that won’t. Scientists on Earth will examine the mice when they’re shipped back later.

Why don't they have the same rights to life, liberty and happiness that we have?

Because all they do is eat, poop, sleep, and have sex. They don't fight for their rights and show no indication of not being happy. In fact, judging by the footage, they're having fun up there.

Out in the wild, they often get predated or die of many other factors.
