Bernie Sanders plan is dangerous and anti-American. It truly shows the dangers of Socialism.

He said he wants to do away with private insurance. HOW DARE HE?

Why do Sanders and other Liberals feel they have the right to usurp the decisions made by me and my Wife?

This is a very private issue between Spouses and how they will plan for their family. Me and my Wife spent time planning these things and we have insurance that we love and it protects our children in the way we see fit.

Bernie is saying that I can't have that right. He's saying me and my Wife have to accept a once size fits all health plan that he chooses when Government can't agree to fix basic problems.

This is so anti-American and the antithesis of freedom.

I can see if he said I want a Universal Healthcare system like Germany that still allows people to buy private insurance. He said Private Insurance companies would be reduced to only doing plastic surgery.

So Bernie is saying that me and my Wife can't choose the kind of care and the level of care we want for our family, we have to be put into a system of healthcare by Bernie whether we want to or not.

DANGEROUS STUFF!

There is no "Medicare For All". They exempted themselves from ObamaCare because they knew it was crap, do you think that our politicians are going to have "Medicare For All"?

No, it will be Medicrapcare for us and something much better for themselves and their "chosen" allies such as certain labor unions and government entities.

I personally think that Bernie should win in 2020, we should (through our representatives, cough cough) pass Everything for All.

Then the country can crater, we can sort it out and then rebuild.

As a part of the rebuilding we should erect statues of Bernie, Pelosi, Waters and AOC with a simple inscription.

We Will Never Forget.

Glad to see you are for a monopolized healthcare system vs one that is much more competitive.
If the gubment can offer something more sensible then would it not mean than those already screwing those have to compete?

You have a brain man.

LOL, good points!

Democrats always say a Woman has a right to choose when it comes to abortion and it's a private issue, but me and my Wife don't have a right to choose the best healthcare plans for our family?

It truly shows how Hypocritical they are.

Americans are mostly uneducated when it comes to health care and especially if it comes with mandatory health care.

I won't go into details of the Japanese health care system, but we have govt. insurance which is based upon your income and NO DEDUCTIBLE and we also have private supplemental insurance also. We also have private travel insurance that mixes in with the national health insurance.

Like I say, most Americans are uneducated what is really good for them at affordable cost. If they did, the'y realize that they've been scammed royally .

Great points!

It would be and corrupt Politicians will have total control over healthcare planning for a family instead a man and his wife. DISGUSTING!

Not to mention, In today's day and age any "Public Option" of course will not be equal. It will be another wealth re-distribution scheme.

The middle class of this country are screwed. Any of these schemes always require us to foot the bill for everyone else. I for one am sick of it.

Democrats, You want equally $hitty healthcare for all of us, how about we pay equally for it instead of trying to milk the working class to pay for everyone else. ObamaCare is great if it is free, the working people who make more to not get subsidies, not so much.

In no way is that an oxymoron.
If the gubment can offer something that actually is affordable vs those private. Does it not stand to reason that those competitors must compete. Driving prices down and creating more jobs to do so? Yes “ACA” was not the answer but was a step forward. Now why do we as loving countrymen not agree to work on it?
Because TPTB told us to to......

Create competition between the gubment and those that are private.
Look at SpaceX as an example.

We don’t need the gubment to dictate what we need but we need competitive prices to make healthcare worth the spending. Fecking free healthcare a thing and I can almost promise you that your insurance policy will go down month to month.

Socialized medicine is the best way, everyone covered for the basics. Now, there could be policies that people could buy for stuff like dental, eye glasses, plastic surgery, unnecessary tests not related to disease, so on so forth. If a person does not want to just have regular cancer treatment, they could buy some extra coverage on their own.

I think our healthcare here in America sucks, it is way overpriced and not as good as many other countries have. If you have the money then buy extra coverage. Right now only the rich can afford good pay all coverage or those with employers who pay for the good insurance, but remember, if those employers did not have to pay for that high priced insurance, they could boost what they pay to the employees.

truly, i can see your conundrum. not having to spend hours trying to figure out the best plan because everything but elective surgery is covered is quite the pickle.

Not really.

I personally think it's an idiotic idea to abolish private healthcare, but I also think it's idiotic how most Americans aren't demanding a universal healthcare system.

It's almost as if you guys are just voluntarily bending over and giving the nod to the healthcare corporations.

The way it stands now, they know they can just charge whatever they want... cause what other choice have you got?

In a system with universal healthcare and subsidized medicine, the private healthcare system and insurance companies lose their monopoly and are forced to to provide competitive prices... because if they don't, then you can just walk and get it for free anyway.

This is a prime example of why the republicans need to drop the charade, come to the table and get something done to help solve the healthcare issue. The reform is coming whether you like it or not. This is the GOP's shot to get into the discussion and make sure some reason is actually injected into it. Otherwise, when the reform does inevitably come it will be enacted by some drooling idiot like Sanders and you and everyone you care about will be put at risk of paying the ultimate price.

Right now we have the problem of the idealist pushing too hard and the pragmatist just standing there with their knees locked and refusing to budge an inch. You're living in denial if you think the healthcare system is going to stay as it is in its current form. These days, in the political arena, we have an overabundance of liberal theory and zero conservative application. The conservative is supposed to represent the manager or the administrator. Closing your eyes, shaking your head no and refusing to address an issue slapping you right in the face is not managerial.

It's time to get your house in order, conservatives. Otherwise the radical problem on the left is just going to keep getting worse and the rational liberals won't be able to hold them back much longer.

i have medicare and VA health care.

I once went to the doctors at the local hospital because i was in body wide pain.

They ran a few test and found nothing and told me nothing was wrong and put on my records i was drug seeker.

I then traveled to my local VA and they found i had Sarcoidosis and Castleman's disease both auto immune disorders along with small fiber nephropathy.

Over the years i have had gall stone surgery and a 5 way bypass surgery done by a surgeon that was a teaching professor from UCLA working at the VA teaching heart surgery.

I have never been back to my local hospital for medical care since and they handle most of the medicare in the area.

I agree with Bernie. The government has a role in reigning in the cartels and monopolies from destroying the American economy. How fast has healthcare premiums been rising compared to inflation. It's been about the same service for the last 20 years.

Actually dental should be covered. Poor teeth care leads to many diseases
Japan national health care covers it.
Average per dental visit is about 25 USD and we don't have no fkn 5000 dollar deductible, no deductible
I wish americans will wake up.

Exactly!

It will be equally $hitty care and a family that wants better care will not be allowed to buy any private insurance to get that care. What happened to Democrats being Pro Choice? Why shouldn't me and my Wife have the choice to plan for the healthcare needs of our family?
