I'm not a huge DVD person, I have the original trilogy but I haven't watched it once.

I gave the theater money for Star Trek: Nemesis despite initial negative reviews & word-of-mouth gripes -- that's not exactly a Trekkie favorite film overall. Thus, I understand

it was still star trek

happy holidays

Saw it tonight
I thought it was awesome and made the 7 and 8 better.
I will see it again.

I saw it, I agree with the fan ratings on RT, the The Last Jedi was rotten, this one is better but that wasn't a hard bar to elevate to. the The Phantom Menace was better than TLR.

We do find out why Ray is so powerful with the force, wasn't expecting that.

Minus a couple things I didn't like/agree with (which is the same with every movie ever). I loved it, I'll probably go see it again if others are up for it.

Just saw it and I thought it was great. I know people are going on about 'fan service' but you know what? I want to be fan serviced. Gonna see it again after Christmas.

Yea I enjoyed it too It hit on enough buttons, but I don't over-analyze movies either. Adam Driver has a good performance and had a satisfying ending so does Ridley.

I agree, both the main leads turned in very strong performances.

All questions were answered which is what I wanted.

One other thing, people were actually cheering and clapping when the film 'hit the buttons' as you said.

Remember in the Marvel Vader comic from 2017? It highly suggested, and I think Lucas confirmed at the time, that Palpatine pretty much 'brought' Anakin into existence... Well, if that's still true, and Rey's Sheev's grand-daughter, doesn't that make her cousins with Luke and Leia?

I really enjoyed it.
I feel this story arc really just needed this final movie and SNLs Undercover Boss with Kylo Ren to be complete.

You should watch Mandolorian, trust mama.
Pro tip: You can bundle it with hulu for the same rate.

I've been following your thread so I trust you,
.

I did end up seeing it again over the weekend and I think I enjoyed it more the second time, I picked up on a few things I missed and was able to hear some parts I missed previously.
