The Polish Parliament will discuss the project of a decree that would call the Polish PM, Marek Belka, to resign, the Polish MPs decided. The Parliament's president Wlodzimierz Cimoszewicz said that the term of discussing the project should be first consulted with the PM.

The option of accepting the project into the discussion order won with 207 voices, while 203 MPs were against this option and 6 MPs refrained from voting.

It takes the most of votes in the Polish parliament. There are 2 ways: either such a decree of calling the PM to resign, or a vote of untrust. But in the first option, the PM I think will not be formally obligated to resign. But if it was a vote of untrust and it would get the required most of votes of the MPs, the PM would no longer be allowed to reign.
This decree has been proposed by one of the Polish opposition parties, because the Polish opposition wants the Parliament to self-dissolve and new elections to be held as quickly as possible.
