Anyone else have group texting issues with android?

My wife cant send a text to a group with my daughter and myself.
It pops up "failed" immediately.

Now it's doing the same thing to me.
Failed, like it didnt even try.

Today I created a group text with 3 recipients and every one of them responded individually, not to the group. I the others dont see the responses.

I went to AT&T, our service Provider and they couldn't figure it out...."of course"

Two phones are galaxy 7s and the kid has an iphone. Shes having no issues so I'm thinking its android.

Anyone else having issues?

no...but could check if you can send and receive SMS media....happened to me

The techs checked all that stuff.
Mine was fine until the software update about a week ago.

Everyone I work with has an iPhone but I have sg9. When they do group texts I dont see the group just individual texts. Been like that ever since I got rid of my iphone. Now people without iPhones show up as group texts when it's a group text. Dont know if you have same issues

I have also noticed my samsung doesn't like videos that originate from an iPhone. Will play them at like 180 res

Yes!

I can text my friends but not my mom.

my mom can text me just fine.

Sometimes I get text from other people that I do not know and have never met.

Sometimes they get my text.

Normal Txt, iOS messages, other messaging? Google perhaps? Hard to say. If this is going from iOS to Android or a mix it's hard to say for sure
