Babe, your flux capacitor needs replacing and it will cost $900 all in.
Sir, I have never heard of that type of car part.
All new cars have them, doll.
I think I will get a second opinion.
Wait, I will double check, it could also be your fuel filter.

I like this. It reminds me of how I feel when I take a car to a highly technical repair company. (To me, all cars are highly technical.)

You also have a PM that does not contain any help to bring your car to a better mechanic.

ETA Flux capacitor you say? Sounds expensive!

Are there better mechanics? Paranoia strikes me.

According to reports, the most expensive place to let your car go is an official dealership. I know only how to start the machine, fill it with fuel and, with the manual, how to check oil. I'm a guy that understands very little about the internal combustion engine and associated components necessary to construct a car and I plan on keeping it that way for a very long time.

Well, I ask the mechanics to show me and explain it in detail while I pretend to understand, then I tell them I'll think about it while I ask the men in my life that know something about car engines.

I might pay 900 bucks for a 'flux capacitor'. Sounds like a deal

Great entry Light. I wonder if Babe chose to stay and take a chance. I think the guy may have been flirting with Doll while assuming she had watched Back to the Future. I like your humor in this story.

Are you suggesting Babe could have gotten it for free?

I think that Babe could have gotten a nice dinner for free. She still would have had to pay for the fuel filter.

I don't think so.
