This is related to Venezuela's socialist economy collapsing. Maduro defaulted on some financial agreements.

I wonder if this might be related to Trump's recent claim that Russia has withdrawn most of the troops it sent to guard Maduro. Perhaps Russia's main goal was making sure it got paid, and now that that's done Maduro can twist in the wind for all they care.

Edit: Perhaps Obama signed a secret pardon giving Epstein a pass for child prostitution, but back then sex trafficking wasn't really on anybody's radar, and Barr has determined that the pardon wouldn't cover that.
