The fact that so many people on his campaign were approached by Russians isn't enough to look into it? They were looking at Russian interference and whether trumps people were complicit.
So they found that the Russians did in fact interfere and the trump campaign was just a useful tool.
Lets see the rest of the report to know how dangerous that is.
And lets see why trump thought is was such a good idea to lie and have his team lie about it all.
Mulvaney: Democrats will 'never' see Trump's tax returns
Acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said Sunday that Democrats will "never" see President Trump's tax returns. "Nor should they. That’s an issue that was already litigated during the election. Voters knew the president could have given his tax returns, they knew that he didn’t, and they elected him anyway," Mulvaney said during an appearance on "Fox News Sunday."
Mulvaney added Sunday that Democrats "know what the law is." "They know one of the fundamental principles of the IRS is to protect the confidentiality of you and me and everybody else who files taxes. They know that. They know the terms under law by which the IRS can give them the documents, but political hit job is not one of those reasons," he said.
Kilbourn v. Thompson. The Supreme Court already ruled Congress can not delve into people's private financial matters unless they have proper legislative authority.

Right. Let them take it to the Supreme Court. We know what that result will be. And so do they.
Why should I list them to you, while you feign ignorance?
they're claiming their motive is tainted
While Democratic chairmen across the Capitol want to see Trump's tax returns for their own investigations, Neal's formal request is specific and targeted: an investigation into a program that audits the taxes of sitting presidents. Under 6103, only Neal -- not the chairman of other committees-- will be provided the information.

The Ways and Means Committee isn't asking to make Trump's tax return public. And, yes the Dems tactics will be highlighted. They won the House based on promises to do just what they're doing. So, yeah. Campaign promises kept!
