I get on the bus, sit down. A baby in a stroller is staring at me, vigorously chomping on a binky. I look away, then look back....still staring.
Is it my nose, my hair? Do I smell bad? The mother pulls the cord, and escorts baby off. Thank goodness!
Maybe I didnt write it too well, I dont normally do this. I'll clarify.
The topic was paranoia/sneaking suspicions.
A tiny baby already distracted by a binky just happens to be innocently staring. A paranoid adult might think "whats wrong with me? Why is the baby
staring at me?" And suspect that the reasons are things they might be self conscious of (nose, hair, scent etc...) The baby isnt doing anything
wrong, its the paranoid adult creating the situation in their own head. Then relief once the cause of the paranoia is gone.
