They've banned him from holding office for 15 years.
I don't think he'll be arrested...
which means the CIA will probably kill him.
Is the CIA working for the best interests of the USA, Russia, China?
If you been on this forum long enough, you'll know obviously no. There is one country the CIA can't mess with and it is China. It is guarantee execution unless they were actually hunting Drug lords, nazi's or mad scientists. Which I highly doubt they are right now. CIA doesn't have the best interest on the Asian community. Even British spies does a reasonable better job than CIA since Cold War.
Edit: They carry out their death sentences fairly quickly with little publicity too. They did a British guy a few years ago only a year after he was found guilty. They've got a Canadian guilty of drug trafficking sentenced right now and with the political spat he's toast. Imagine your last moments as a citizen of a western country being led in shackles to an undisclosed location by Chinese, then strapped to a gurney and lethally injected. No witnesses other than Government officials unlike in the U.S.

As I said, if the CIA was hunting drug lords. They would be fine just like when they were hunting down Chinese triads doing bad business all over the world. The Canadian guy got what he was asking for to be honest. China plays by UN and Interpol laws. But, if you are planning to do something against the country itself then your already asking for it.
If you have been studying Chinese history. You'll know Chinese takes things very seriously especially when it comes to ending kingdoms during civil war era. They don't play around.
What is Schellenberg's case?
Schellenberg, who is believed to be 36, was arrested in 2014 and accused of planning to smuggle almost 500lb (227kg) of methamphetamine from China to Australia.
He was sentenced to 15 years in prison in November 2018. But following an appeal, a high court in the north-eastern city of Dalian on Monday sentenced the Canadian national to death.
The court also ruled that all of his financial assets must be confiscated.
"I am not a drug smuggler. I came to China as a tourist," Schellenberg said just before the verdict was announced, the AFP news agency reports.
He has 10 days to appeal.
"All I can really say at this moment is, it is our worst case fear confirmed," his aunt, Lauri Nelson-Jones, told the BBC via email.
"Our thoughts are with Robert at this time. It is rather unimaginable what he must be feeling and thinking. It is a horrific, unfortunate, heartbreaking situation. We anxiously anticipate any news regarding an appeal."
China has denied that it is using its legal system to take hostages as bargaining chips in the Huawei case.
But for whatever reason China has suddenly begun working hard to push Schellenberg's case to international prominence, taking the highly unusual step of inviting foreign journalists into the court, the BBC's John Sudworth in Beijing reports.
And despite the Canadian's insistence that he is innocent, his retrial lasted just a day, with his death sentence coming barely an hour after its conclusion, our correspondent says.

This is a really powerful post, thank you for this. It goes to show that there is a clear difference in priorities, policies, politics and prosecutions. We are the ones blinded by our limp and flimsy bubbles of ideology. I don't know if we need to keep up or throw down. But it's clear we need to do something.

Truthfully, it's because there aren't very many asian americans eligible for the job statistically and it's pretty obvious when a crooked asian is in the room with all Chinese. He's suspect from the start. That situation is unique because of ethnicity and culture. It's not easy to be a western spy in China by default. Maybe an insider but not an outsider.
