This is a cross all the major news networks in the last few days..

‘BREAKING POINT’ AT THE BORDER: Border Patrol is on pace in March to arrest more than 55,000 family members along the southwest border, a 520 percent increase over levels this time last year, POLITICO’s Ted Hesson reports. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan said Wednesday from El Paso, Texas, that the family crossings had reached a “breaking point.” He blamed the federal courts for limiting the administration’s ability to deport migrants quickly. "The last time we had crossings near this level, they were almost all single adults from Mexico who could be swiftly repatriated,” McAleenan said. “There’s a big difference." More from Hesson here.

Breaking Point

I looked this up today when I heard that they are fencing off overpasses to create detainment compounds as everything they have is overwhelmed.

Maybe it's time to close some of the 700+ foreign military bases we have around the world and reopen them on our Southern borders. Better for the US economy.

Nope... its time to build a wall.

Build a wall, add to the wall with high tech support and manpower, fix our immigration system, establish a robust work visa program, change some antiquated laws that dealt more with the rights of slaves after they were freed than with foreigners illegally invading our borders.

I think the total was on track to be more than 100,000 total illegals last month. Nope, no problems at all.

Build the wall and close the border until Mexico and the Democrats get serious about the problem.

LOL good one! That'll be the day.
You know "the wall" is just a talking point, right? It's never going to be completely built because it really wouldn't be effective.
The whole idea of "the wall" is to keep the voters hungry and angry. If "the wall" ever actually was built then there would be nothing to dangle (like an orange carrot) in front of all those MAGA hats.

Trump needs "the wall" to always be "soon"...

People south of the wall are panicking and want out of the chaos that will ensue at the border, the same thing happened when the iron curtain went up. This was inevitable, that border is going to be a slum / tent city / criminal riddled war zone soon.

Mexico better buckle up for one hell of a ride.

The wall is just another boondoggle that won't work. Military bases along the borders with patrols would work a lot better. It's time to let the damn French defend themselves from the Russians. We need military on our borders.

Democrats are serious. The wall is not going to work. People will just go around it.

I wonder if Trump can divert the 310 million we give to Mexico in aid every year to building the wall, then he can say Mexico is paying for it.

Or the $50 billion that goes to Israel and say Israel is paying for it.

We should really dig a giant trench. Trenches are cheaper.

A Christmas present from Israel to America... Kind of like Frances' Statue of Liberty.

We would stop immigration if we get the Chinese to stop pegging the Yuan to the dollar 6 to 1. Then having factories and jobs in Mexico would be plentiful again and the illegals would go back home for better opportunities.
