No point in rocking the boat she's busy tipping over.

the big question is: are they wearing life vests?

Doesn't matter, It was FDR's legacy and his threat to Republican values that fueled the fire that scored the 22 Amendment.

Threat to "republican" values.
Because term limits ( which apply equally to Dems as to Republicans) are bad ?

TERM LIMITS DEFEND DEMOCRACY !

You are just exposing Dems/Socialists LONG-STANDING DEEP DOWN DESIRE FOR PERMANENT, TOTAL FASCIST CONTROL.

My god man chill out a bit. Why not just have a conversation/debate about the topic without being a dick. That’s the problem with our country nowadays... everyone has to get overly emotional and immature and no real conversations can occur. It’s offputting and makes it seem like you are just trying to release anger from your personal life or something my friend. Just think about what I’m saying for a bit.

Can’t we just have conversations on here without all the overly emotional nonsense? Just my 2 cents....a reply to: M5xaz

I am quite chill.

Moron: AOC made numerous statements that strongly suggest low information/low iQ - FACT!

Barmaid: AOC was a barmaid, a cocktail waitress, a persona of ZERO substance - FACT !

Gross ignorance of US history: whether she speaks of the " 3 houses of Congress", or attribute the 22nd amendment to preventing a dead guy from becoming President, her lack of knowledge is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. FACT

Q.E.D.

Clearly, this thread has hurt your feelings - having ZERO factual counterpoints, you ad hominen...

..is that you AOC?
LOL
/sarc off..

I have a distinct feeling that she will one day be elected because of a sextape. You know how Kim Kardashian made a sex tape and suddenly became famous...that’ll be AOC.

NOW, who’s the willing stud here at ATS to do the deed? AOC offers you $10,000,000 to make a tape with her (male or female...doesn’t matter). Do you do it?!?

Why limit it to male or female? Looking at that vapid face its pretty obvious there is a donkey in that bloodline somewhere....

Just going by what she says, she craves power, her Green Deal is an authoritarian dream, her arrogance is off the chart.

Because she grew up thinking she can have everything she wants.

you can't think of anyone else who fits that? anyone?

lololololololol

you all are so triggered by this girl, it's fun.

Not triggered, Moron.

Unlike starry-eyed low iQ libtards like you and AOC, we can see that her cocktail-waitress-brain "plans" would lead to economic collapse and mass starvation in the US, just as similar dingbats have caused Venezuela, despite having the largest oil deposits in the world after Saudi Arabia, to STARVE.

GET A CLUE !

Oh so this is how you communicate with others when in a good mood.

Fun facts about social security:

Originally it was a 1% tax (now it's 6.2%)
Originally it paid for itself (the calculation was revenue divided by recipients, not to exceed $60/mo per recipient)
The age to collect SS was 65, the average life expectancy was 67 (so they had to pay out for two years lol, what a scam. 1% for your life and you get two years of benefits)
Over your lifetime you'll pay in an average of 290k and receive benefits of 260k, for 40-50 years of investment you get a rate of return of negative ten percent

It is a system that doesn't work and was a scam to begin with. The quintessential "buying the votes of the public with the public's money."

The sad part is that the public thinks of ss as some savior for retirement. It's your own money. If you had just saved that 6% for 45 years you'd be rich by retirement. Here's the math for a person just above poverty. If you made $25,000 you'd save 1550 a year. Simply investing in a market fund that yields 9% will give you 560k at retirement. Off a total savings of ~70k over your working life.

Social security is costing you 300 thousand dollars in missed profits. That's the opportunity cost. That's an awfully hefty opportunity cost for a person making 25k.

But we'll continue to hear all about the compassion of the dems and how much they love the poor and the elderly because they love social security.

BTW, for a person making the median income, you'd have close to a million bucks to retire on.

What needs to happen is social security needs to be phased out and compulsory savings instituted. If you want to horde your cash good luck. If you invest wisely, you'll be well off, if you don't save you get penalized and you'll live out your days on the welfare system.

Don't forget you also get taxed on your SS "benefits" when you decide to receive them.

It's a scam. Just like most everything the Government peddles to us serfs.

Absolutely

The fact they are out in the open makes them easy to round up and charge with various Federal crimes

Socialism is a crime in the United States of America - it is in direct violation of Article 4 Section 4 which mandates a REPUBLICAN form of government and gives the state governors/legislatures the power to request Federal assistance for putting down insurrection and suppressing domestic violence.

18 U.S. Code 2385 Advocating overthrow of Government
18 U.S. Code 2381 Treason
18 U.S. Code 2382 Misprision of treason
18 U.S. Code 2383 Rebellion or insurrection
18 USC 2384 Seditious conspiracy
18 USC 2387 Activities affecting armed forces generally
18 USC 2389 Recruiting for service against United States
18 USC 2390 Enlistment to serve against United States

Socialist/communist subversives are agitators, provocateurs and virulently anti-American. They are enemies of the United States and the people of the United States. Each case is different, but any/all of the USC listed above can be used for prosecuting them. The subversive persons/organizations act needs to be brought back, most easily done by Exec order

Every problem we face today has its roots in some treasonous socialist's grubby little scheming hands. We've grown SOFT as a nation on infiltrators, spies and subversives. And our MANY ENEMIES see this, which is why these foreign-backed domestic enemies feel confident enough to operate in the open.

People like her have been running the public education system for well nigh 40 years now.

The entire f# population is brainwashed. Don't rest on your laurels now. She's only the tit of the iceberg.

Trying to envision the tit of an iceberg...

I think they meant 'twit.'

It looks like an auto correct... I think they meant tip of the iceberg as that’s an actual anecdote.

Oh.

I have to argue that these two statues are arguably unconstitutional:

18 USC 2384 Seditious conspiracy
18 USC 2387 Activities affecting armed forces generally

They basically say you cannot sway anyone and that flies face into the Fisrt Amendment in my opinion.

You call me triggered in a post that you went off topic to talk about Trump. Brilliant.

But to answer your question, Trump's dad wouldn't let him be a part of his business without working for it, the exact same thing Trump did with his own kids.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

It is freaking hillarious how you trumpers try to make Trump into some mythical saviour of the American way. He pulled himself up from his bootstraps. His dad made him live in the ghetto and work his way up before he was allowed to have any of the family wealth. Yeah, no.

He was getting paid $200,000 per year as early as age 3. [1] He was given $413 million from his father.

The president isn't a real position?

The more citizens who support their president the stronger the nation.

You dont even realize how crazy you sound, calling out president supporters, like it's a bad thing.

Lead , follow or get out of the way.

All you do is disrupt like a temper tantrum having child.

The real problem with these types of statements is that it is now going to be seen as truth by a large number of people. It doesn't matter what the truth is. Take flat Earth for example, people latch on to an idea because someone they trust says it and it becomes truth. That is the major problem with all media, once something false is said the damage is done. There is a responsibility we all have to not spread knowingly false information.

I don't believe anyone here "worships" Trump. He's an employee hired with our votes to do a job. Being pleased with an employees job performance isn't idol worship no matter how badly you want to believe it.
