At this rate.

I expect Avenetti to get off too.

The hypocrisy of our justice system can't get any more clear.

I am not the slightest bit shocked or surprised by this. At all.

To pay Devil's Advocate, what if it's because the records make the CPD look like complete morons that botched and bungled this case from day one?

Precisely. Cases are dropped all the time where they are a bit weak or if there are shenanigans on the side of the investigators or prosecutors, but to have the charges fully expunged takes it to a whole new level. If this were a case of prosecutorial misconduct, Smollett's team could turn around and sue for malicious prosecution and get not only his bond back, but a sizable settlement as well.

Taking another look at the excerpt from my previous post, I noticed this:

Jussie was attacked by two people he was unable to identify on January 29th.

Well, the CPD was able to positively identify the perpetrators and as soon as Smollett realized he knew who they were, he decided not to press charges, but he was all for pressing charges when he thought CPD had collared some random unrelated people.

This whole thing stinks on ice.

I'm sure the head of CPD wouldn't be as shocked after getting his ass reamed.

A new judge was brought in to clear Jussie. A judge with connections to the Obamas. Pretty clear cut.

Connecting the dots. Jussie's attorney Geragos is being charged with Avennati and that also could bring in more perspective as to who's in charge. Making it closed so we can't see the people involved. Would have thought it was beeing kicked up to the FBI-but his attorney is acting too smug. Smug cause they got to someone.

Again, Jussie may win short term-but doubt he will live a long and happy life.

Is it possible that he's innocent though? I know that there are shady parts of the story but what if he really was attacked and for some reason didn't want to say who did it?

It's true that the police department tried him in the press and confirmed his guilt before trial. That's undeniable.

I don't know what the truth is but it stinks on both sides in my opinion.

A grand jury didn't think so.

this is like a bad overly political episode of the x-files.

*Rahm Emanuel, Maxine Walters et al. In backroom smoking cigars after sacrificing a goat to Hilary*

Maxine, 'We have to make this problem...go away quietly'

Rahm ' Whcih problem? We are in did # everywhere. The one's who backed us now ignore us for our blatant exposure in the media.'

Maxine 'The Russian problem. We need to distract from our loss by pushing something else dvisive that shows the people they are nothing but our tools. We hold the means to production. We hold the workers! We -!'

*cuts her off*
Obama 'Yes yes, we are the rulers but we must focus. We must push the Smollett narrative, he is innocent!'

Rahm 'no he's n-'

Obama 'silence! Someone get Krycek in here'

Sounds like unofficially they're saying "We're keeping this a secret for national security reasons"

So I'm not the only one going there. Good. I just commented that I'd scream if they told us "because national security." It's the favorite excuse for the elite.

If he's innocent then this remains an unsolved heinous hate crime, requiring a new investigation, whatever it takes, spare no resources or expenses.

After being influenced by an overly vocal commisioner all over the news?

I'm not sure. Somethings wrong with this one.

That's why I think there's been some undue political influence here.

We know Smollet is connected to Kamala Harris.

AND Booker...AND their anti-lynching bill.

Connect the dots.

The DOJ should investigate cook country.

You know some snip went down.

Damn right. They should have been investigated a long time ago for a lot of reasons. But the location helped make it all suspect to begin with, and we shouldn't be surprised at this either. No rest for the wicked, eh?

I swear this has to be just a distraction to get the Russian investigation out of the news.
