It's a very good point

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the MSM can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the MSM to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the MSM.” - - Joseph Goebbels(Modified)

So the DNC and the MSM took their best shot at Trump now it's his turn to hit back and we know he likes to do triple damage on the return hit.
Based on this he can say anything congress does or says is illegitimate and irrelevant now.

The lack of responses from our brethren on the left is telling....

We need at least a 2 year investigation into this to be sure.

Of course the lies affected the election, that was half of the point.

Just like the dems activist that lied about russian bots to win the alabama special election.

The voters that were lied to should be outraged.

Here is some more (little off topic but worth mentioning)

New research reveals that Google built biases into its search results that influenced the 2018 midterm elections - possibly costing Republicans three congressional districts.

www.zerohedge.com...

Study done by a Hillary voter. And it only looked at seats in California, so imagine how much influence Google could have had for the dems nationwide.

All of the lies, the dominance of the narrative in the cultural institutions pushing these lies. The question is not did this help the dems win thru these lies, but how much did it help.

Careful, otherwise someone will say Comey caused Hillary to lose.

So, in other words, Russia interfered in the 2018 election with the help of the Liberal Democrats at their side. I think that this should be investigated, I wonder what Mueller is doing, is he interested in another special council to investigate if Democrats colluded with Russia?

In the name of justice, we should probably appoint a special investigator, maybe a Trey Gowdy, to look into this, give him the time and resources he needs to ensure justice is served, yes?

Oh God, the invigoration of moral self righteousness and justification coursing through my veins today is intoxicating. I've not felt this much vindication since November 9, 2016...

I don’t know. I just see too many parallels going on here. Hitler led an unsuccessful coup in 1923 and spent five years in jail in which he wrote Mein Kampf. By 1932 he had a ton of brown shirts in the German parliament that quite honestly made it look like white blouses at the last State of the Union Address.

Trump only has about six years left, in which the country tired of winning, will have a Democrat president. And we will probably be looking at someone like Beto, who in my figuring could write a rambling and impossible to follow book about his struggles by then.

Just too many parallels going on for my comfort, because you know his first act would be to declare a national emergency on gun ownership and after taxing the people into abject poverty, we would be forced to call on other nations of the world to help free the American people.

World War 3, all because they failed to prove a false narrative of Russian Collusion.

Hitler rose to power because Germany and the German people were in abject poverty thanks to WWI. The US, in 6 years, will still be well fed and better armed. If Beto or someone of his fascist ilk tries something like that, the result would look a lot more like the American Revolution than WWII.

Personally, I don't view 2024 as a shot for a Dem POTUS. I think we're past that foolishness for at least another decade.

Still one of his first acts was to outlaw the Socialist Democratic Party which was the ruling party prior to his appointment to Chancellor. And we sure have boatload of those here overtaking the Democrats in their double time march to straight Communism.

And now .......

Trump-Russia collusion did affect an American election — the one in 2018

An excerpt

Polls showed the impact of the Russia coverage on voters. About half of American voters declared they believed Trump or his aides had colluded with Russia, even though they hadn’t.It is the most compelling proof in a long time that false information repeated long enough becomes truth for many people.Although we are still coming to grips with the finality of the Mueller report, one thing has become increasingly clear: The Russia collusion narrative — fanned by foreigners, dirty tricksters and a willing media — did, in fact, impact an American election. Not the one in 2016, but the midterm that came two years later.

It shouldn't be, but sadly... most likely... yes.

There is simply no Constitutional mechanism for annulling an election like this, unless it is on the State level that I am unaware of

It certainly did improperly influence it, but to what degree we will never know. Just like the Russia-trolling nonsense (total nonsense, IMO) there is no way to know what extent it influenced anything nor is there any mechanism for a "do over" as much as I would love to see it

And believe me I would LOVE to see it. Things would turn out very differently without the constant cloud of doubt hanging over us/our candidates/our POTUS

What I do know is that punishing these conspirators severely will eliminate future attempts at this kind of treasonous coup
