I think there is a different mentality between law abiding gun owners of many other countries than that of the USA.

It is the constitutional right of Americans to have a gun, for whatever reason its your right to own one, its in your constitution. For most of the rest of the world, owning a gun is a privilege and has to have a purpose (not self defence or paramilitary, that is the role of the law and government to provide).

If you are privileged to be approved to be allowed a gun then you follow some pretty tight rules to maintain that privilege. Serious reasons are hunting and target shooting, neither of which actually need a pump action shotgun or AR-15 (equivalent).

So why would I, as a law abiding citizen with a hunting permit (and gun license) really care if the government wants to ban everything other than bolt action rifles and double barrel shotguns? Why do I as a law abiding gun owner need an AR-15 and semi automatic shotgun in New Zealand?

I am not challenging the American constitution on firearms, that is your cross to bear, but don't think the rest of the world thinks like an American towards guns, we are mostly just fine with our gun laws.

Just wanted to touch on the whole remove the video thing. There seems to be a lot of trouble in making sure this particular video is not seen. There are far more worse videos out there on Facebook that a 13 year can see, just by clicking a reveal content button. These videos have stayed on Facebook for years.

Hell, I'm from Australia and can not access LiveLeak now, yet LiveLeak for years has been a goto site for uncensored gore, which a 5 year could access, with simple "are you 18 click here".

It does not add up.

ETA: I personally dont goto LiveLeak for gore, just reading reply back, sounded like it.

That, and they don’t disappear. The OP has given timestamps for when he thinks they disappear in other threads and I challenged the claim then. They are briefly lost to view as they fly through the air but then show up on the ground as one would expect. Absolutely zero response from the OP.

I think the terrorists were perfectly capable of bringing down the buildings with bombs. I don't understand why people are so committed to the government's explanation. Something I find odd about the video, that's just plain weird.

he parks his car kind of around the side of the building in an alley. Then after grabbing his guns out of the trunk he walks down the sidewalk towards the mosque entrance. 
There are cars driving along the road, and as he approaches the driveway leading to the front door there are people standing around thd cars parked along the road, like they were getting out to go inside. 

Here we have this guy, holding a gun, guns hanging off him, dressed in military gear, a camera on his head, 
And no one even seems to notice him? Its like they look right at him and just see nothing out of the ordinary. 

Even the guys standing in the door of the mosque show no reaction whatsoever till he starts shooting. 

Is that just how laid back new zealanders are? Its kinda weird, here in the states a guy geared up like that walking around would have people going berserk on sight.

What I still find odd is that people feel some weird sense of relief by saying this was a "set up" or whatever. Like that's not somehow just as bad or worse.

Allot of the people, including the media failed to see that the stream was broadcast with an mobile app for GoPro use via hotspot/wifi. Some claim the footage, even copyright it that of Live4, as if they were a legit news source.
