Manhattan shooting: Police initiate ‘Level 1’ response to multiple fatality report
New York hospitals have been put on ‘citywide’ alert as police rush to respond to an ‘active crime scene’ involving ‘multiple fatalities’ in Manhattan.
The incident is reportedly unfolding at the intersection of East 115 St and 2055 3rd Avenue, East Harlem.
Police say they have mobilised a ‘Level 1’ response after reports of three or four people having been shot, with the status of the gunman unclear.

Three people wounded in a possible gang-related shooting in Manhattan are expected to survive, the NYPD said.
Two 18-year-olds and a 23-year-old were shot in the vicinity of the Jefferson Houses at East 112th Street and Third Avenue in East Harlem around 8 p.m. Monday, police and the FDNY said.
Police initially said one of the victims was not expected to survive, but later said all three victims were in stable condition and expected to survive
Noo one had been arrested in connection with the shootings as of Monday evening.
