Hello ATS. Just got this news feed about it. Apparently, it happened in Australia. Not sure if this is news... I'm not even sure if a 12ft great white shark is even that big. But it does have me thinking about what else could be down that's big enough to bite a shark in half?

What days Ats?

Posting from my cell so bear with me.

12' is medium sized.

No pics. But Orca are known to enjoy shark sashimi.

Other great whites do that. It's not unusual.

That is not a great white in the second video, And 12ft is not a medium sized great white,it is on the bigger end if size for them.

Whatever it was would have to have jaws that could open up at least to 3 feet wide. That's a pretty big mouth.

No, it isn't.

That’s the size of the great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias). The biggest great white sharks can reach up to 20 feet long, but most are smaller. The average female is 15-16 feet long, while males reach 11-13 feet.

Thanks, Phage. I had a feeling that 12ft is on the small side for a great white.

A shark will swim with other Great Whites but must be careful
because another will sometimes attack it broadsides. Males
do bite females which are usually much larger and cause
deep gashes probably what happened to
Deep Blue, who has a large wound on her midsection.

When a real large shark bites a smaller one broadside it can take a large chunk out of it behind the gills and including the dorsal fin and hitting up to the spine. This
bite might be a large shark exerting authority or if is hungry for shark meat. The part they bite
out is usually a choice part.

Like Phage mentions. Orcas do not like sharks and gang up to kill them.

I'd rather poop that out later than 400 Great White teeth...

The part the Killer Whales take is
only the liver. They take the only the
tongue if baby whales and leave the
rest. Why they take the Great White's
Liver only is a mystery but it mighty be
the best tasting part.
