I'm surprised you think waffle rock is the only thing that would come to mind when there are dozens of well known examples of mysterious formations and OOPARTS. Why does it specifically surprise you that waffle rock was not mentioned?

You live near waffle rock, or once did, so it holds more significance to you? Did you get to touch it?

Wouldn't it mean, created by yet unknown means?

It seems a bit of an assumption to say must be natural because of the date created no?

Thing is, there is other data which indicates that they are natural formations.
