Christchurch shooting: police search for gunman after mass shooting at mosque – live updates

Am I missing something? There have apparently been four people arrested, with photos in the media of a man in camouflage gear being arrested, but it was Grafton that was the shooter at both of the mosques with no mention of anyone else being involved at either of those locations. Then there was talk of a third location, a school, which as far as I'm aware hasn't really been spoken of again.

So, is there any word on how the other three people are related to this, and if indeed something did happen at a school, and if so, was it related?

I can see why, to be honest.. but the days of atrocity being right there in forums dedicated to it, are long gone. I just wanted to see it for myself, and damn that cat, it certainly died along with my appetite.

His POV video showed him reloading. The video is sickening. Watching it can leave no doubt, he murdered dozens of innocent worshipers in cold blood. These were unarmed, non-combatant, non-hostile church goers who were cut down by an ideological zealot.

There may have been exits - in fact, the sports team there managed to escape somehow. But the majority of folks there cowered into a corner and he simply unloaded his rifle into the group. One brave soul tried to tackle him - and was nearly successful, but was shot at the last second.

There seemed to be door guards, but they had their backs turned (a big no-no in protecting a location) and were unarmed. Regardless, it is time to get real about preventing tragedy through prolific firearms use by the Good Guys.

The Bad Guys already have firearms and can easily make/acquire them. Ensuring ALL Good Guys have access to deadly weapons and firearms is paramount in killing these dirt bags before they get a chance to hit soft targets.

I say again, if you haven't watched the video I highly recommend it (if you can stomach it). This is reality. Reality is NOT sunshine, rainbows and kumbaya! People. Are. Evil.

And that must be understood. There is evil out there. It wants to harm you, me and anyone else that happens to step in its path. Either be ready for it or don't be ready for it, but it is here and it is coming either way.

2.) No. They have not already disarmed everyone. There are 1.5 million firearms in New Zealand in a country of 4.8 million. It costs $200 NZ dollars for a firearms licence in New Zealand, about $136 us dollars.

3.) Europe is a not country. There are 50 countries in Europe with very diverse cultures and governments. So how can New Zealand be "as bad as Europe"??

And the brave soul who went after the gunman, and actually succeeded in knocking him on his ass shows that brave men of unqualified integrity and strength of character do still exist also. All the while, you know this guy had to be aware of how much danger he was in, yet when it counted he charged in against an armed/armored attacker with nothing more than his own solid steel will.

I saved the video as well - if not just to ensure that the PC media and well-intentioned self-censors never take this away from those who died, and he who gave his life trying to intervene and stop this.

My first thought was suspiciousness, when they started claiming the video had been taken down/voluntarily censored/etc. But seeing the video removes any doubt or initial inconsistencies.

May God remember the indifference and arrogance of those who seek to suppress this video or event. It is uncomfortable, it is sickening... and it is necessary to show the true depth of unchecked evil.
