My dog knows as much about economics as she does. In fact, I've never heard her speak intelligently on any subject. I don't remember what institution of higher learning she attended, but they must be very proud.

Jnr high school debate team still reels when they hear her talk..

srs bsns.

See that is the problem with these so-called representatives they think they are the boss of we the people. We are part of the problem also..........we let them. It hurts me to say that but it's true. If it wasn't true they wouldn't say stupid sh!t as they do.

People will like what I say they will like.

what is bigger: Trump's cult of personality - or - Trump followers obsession with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

I would say equal

Standing up for someone who is being proactive towards promises made, standing tall against the backlash, and standing proud amidst the torrent of retarded abuse, accusation, and derailment no one else would have..

Face it, you got the President you needed. not the patsy you wanted.

It’s like the movie “Trading Places” with Eddie Murphy, but for real. It’s still a comedy though which is hilarious.

Does New York have the option of recalling an elected politician?
AOC needs to go away.

But she is here and given a platform and the crazies love it. The amount of love she got when she was on stage at and told how she's clearly "intelligent". They love her.

She's a new breed of scary.

no not females
just those of aoc's ilk

"What good are your thoughts & prayers when they don’t even keep the pews safe?"

for anyone to tweet that today in response to letting those in New Zealand know people are with them, is disgusting no matter if your male or female

Republicans helped Ocasio-Cortez win. It was intentional and planned.

not a lot, but at no point have i been discussing anything on twitter, sorry for thread drift, i replied to someone on page one with my own musings, then you replied to me, at no point have we discussed a tweet, my only point in the discussion is that a party which is over 150 years old has never had a female leader, does that suggests that women may not be as valued as males, is that a fair assumption or is it that during that 150 years not a single female has been deemed worthy/sane/capable by the GOP.

wow
do you really want to compare parties 1860's - 1960's?
the fact that you are discussing women in politics and site the dates and party that was actually against womens suffrage is hilarious

were it up to the democrats in the time period you sited it would be mostly only old white men that were allowed any voice

what a laff riot

i am not comparing anything (i didnt make the graph), i dont vote for either party, little difference to me, i am pointing out the lack of female leadership/representation in the GOP, and how whenever HRC or AOC get mentioned on ATS how the threads devolve into basic woman hating, i was wondering if there is any direct correlation between the fact that no female has ever led the party or if i am just widly of the mark, i guess i am just wildly of the mark, i mean a 150+ year old party with only ever men in charge, sounds like it represents everyone in the USA thoroughly.

in the article i linked their are GOP candidates saying the same, maybe they crazy like AOC also huh?

Republican Elise Stefanik "The party needs to have a wake-up call,” she said.

Illinois Rep. Cheri Bustos "If the makeup of Congress truly reflected the makeup of America, then we would be a much better country and a better world," Bustos said.

Perhaps that is because hrc and aoc are walking living breathing feces?
no couldn't be that now could it?

sounds like it represents everyone in the USA thoroughly

thought it was just women you were interested in comparing?
"everyone" is now women?

There was a female gop member that ran for president in 16.
She simply couldn't beat trump.

It sounds like she does not realize there are no pews in a mosque. I suppose we could just substitute “prayer rugs”.
