There's no point in eating a burger without ketchup.

Good. I'd rather a robot flip my burgers than a teenager.

No we need a robotic sammich maker!

Ummm...then you’ll legally be able to kick it in the can...and tell it to get in the kitchen and make me a sammich...

Awesome...

You know what I like about it? I am weird and like my burgers plain, as in no ketchup, no mayo, no mustard, no lettuce. Literally plain. For whatever reason this is such an abstract concept to workers. I even once got a burger with no burger, just two plain buns!

With a robot, I hope when I say plain burger it will understand it as one without condiments? We'll see.

I'm the same way. I like my burgers butt ass naked. plain. Meat and bread only. Depending on the burger place, I don't mind mushrooms, bacon, and a white cheese....

Former Chilihead here myself. I hired on with them as a manager and spent around 8 1/2 years with them. Saw the removal of bussers, the instillation of the impinger ovens, and left just as they were rolling out the Ziosks; yes, if a company can save a few bucks here and there, it will roll that program out system wide.

I recall when we started reducing cooks/servers hours to keep them below full time in order to not have to offer insurance as being mandated by Obamacare; the usual corporate bull# was given, but we all knew why it was happening.

Had a lot of good times with loads of fun people, but the 80/20 rule applies there as in so many other companies; that is 20% of your people produce 80% of your results.

The increasing amounts of automation we are seeing is going to play havoc on our service based economy.

Perhaps the components are manufactured outside of the US?

Mexico might be cheap?

Couldn't they put a head on the "robot". And a cap. Just looks like an arm.
