Yep, they want to make things equal and fair, there needs to be one of two things.

They either need to be equal in responsibility and abortion is illegal and men are responsible for child support without a choice.

They need to be equal in irresponsibility and the woman must inform the man before the limits on abortion are up, and he has the ability to then absolve himself of all responsibilities and rights to the child, at which point she can choose to abort, put the child up for adoption, or raise the child on her own with no support from the father.

Can we have a third option where the man just walks away and let's the woman deal with it? I'm all for a woman's right to choose. Part of me is happy I succeeded. The other part wants nothing to do with the financial obligation. At least I'm being honest.

Besides with this technology all abortions should become a thing of the past:

Campus vending machines offer emergency contraception

I kind of blame God for making women so God damn beautiful!

Um the man walking away was number two... just with all the legal necessary stuff for the man's protection.

The lawmaker wants to classify sex without a condom as “aggravated assault” and ban vasectomy procedures.

My girlfriend would be peeved.
Doubt this maddness will ever come to fruition.

Are people on this site getting to lost in the divide that they can't tell that this is a joke to show how insane it is to control a persons body?!?

When it comes to the topic of abortion, I'm pro-choice. Not going to debate anyone on it, just felt like stating it before my next comment.

What I don't understand is people like this who think it's men wanting to regulate women's bodies. Why is it that men are always to blame about this?? I know plenty of women who are anti-abortion/pro-life and if any sort of vote comes up for it they will always vote that way.

In other words it's not just men, yet we're always the one to blame for it. I know we're the big evil nowadays, but damn, it gets ridiculous at times. I know something like this will never pass, but don't they care at all that this will also harm the cucks on their side as well??

The same party that says stay out of my bedroom and my body my decision proposes this.

You have to be completely brain-dead to vote for any of them.

We do have a small portion of Leftist Loony Loons.

I'm still waiting for you guys to kick Atlanta out of the state... that would do a world of good right there.

Of course, the same could be said about Montgomery...

Actually there is a good portion of sane Conservatives in and near Atlanta.....
The problem is , the others tend to congregate in certain Districts and vote .

So. . . . . try standing up for the individual rights of the unborn and democrats call to cut off your dick.

Seems about appropriate.

They really don't like it when you threaten Moloch's steady supply of sustenance. They take it very seriously, because with all the praying and good deeds and positivity and restraint shown by Trump and supporters, every single sacrifice counts.

You however have decided to ignore this whole side and context of her position and gone ahead and written up as if she is serious rather than trying to juxtapose (joktapse?) body laws on the other sex.

Unfortunately the joke bill is not an example of a juxtaposition from the real bill.

But it is a shiny example of how the people on both sides of the issue aren't even willing to talk and listen to each other. They both would rather silo themselves off in their own glass domes and interact with self created phantoms of each other, putting words and arguments into each others mouths to make their own arguments sound better to themselves (cause again no one else is listening)

I hope one day we as a society can move past this juvenile behavior; maybe then we can start dealing with these issues in a productive manner.

To be clear; I am an atheist, I don't really much care if you kill your fetus or baby or clump of cells in the first, second third or fourth trimester ... to me that just leaves less competition for my own children to contend with. But when a bill to save the life of a "thing" with a heart beat is "juxtaposed" with a bill about viagra you have to accept intellectually that there is something fundamental wrong with our government.

Lets see. Some things I agree with some I don't

Viagra shouldn't be sold or dispersed without a prescription, and the doctor should councel the person on how to restore body function instead of giving a pill. You see, overmethylators have this problem, they need to eat more veggies to cancel out the effect of overmethylation. Also ethyl cancels out the nitrogen effect and causes erectile disfunction. So just eat some veggies or more nitrates in your diet. Remember, too much nitrates can cause dizzyness as it lowers blood pressure sometimes which can also cause problems.

So, guys have to wait 24 hours while women can just go in and buy a sex toy? Hmmm. Discrimination at play.

Would they be able to use this sex without a condom against married couples? Will men have to ask to have sex with their wife? Does this mean that a woman has to ask a guy if he wants sex too? There are days guys are not interested but are coerced into having sex by their date.

She drags you away from what you are doing to service her desires

I do agree that a guy should be required to play child support before the birth, a simple genetic test can be aquired from the fetus I suppose. Remember, I have met a lot of women in my life that tried to pin a kid on a guy and he was probably not the father. Must be fifty incidents of this I have seen through the years. It also does happens with married couples sometimes. The woman goes out with her friends and gets a little frisky, women tend to reinforce their friends deesires to cheat sometimes.

Are people (in general not just this site) getting to lost in the divide that they can't tell that the issue of abortion is much bigger and farther reaching than just a matter of controlling a person's body?!?

What I find insane is how people compartmentalize the different aspects regarding the abortion issue, ignoring the parts that are not convenient to their desired opinion and focuses only those parts that are.

These bitter communists can burn in hell.

I wouldn't # on one if they were burning right in front of me.

Those proposals are obvious bitterness and pettiness, nothing to do with saving the lives of unborn children that (in blood thirsty/mouth foaming states) mothers can unilaterally terminate.

Again, "Go to hell you worthless POS"

If you don't consider the unborn baby a member of the (genus) species Homo sapiens then yes, it is okay to kill them because they aren't human.

Kind of like how southern slave masters didn't consider folks from Africa human and could kill them at a whim.

Solid stuff there Cowboy. Solid and irrefutable. But this is not a thread about whether or not this is a matter of a womans choice or the ''rights'' of a fetus. It is a thread about a woman who was pointing the inequality of the power of a society to regulate how a woman has to control her own body.

The discussion of whether or not a fetus is a human being is still open for debate and is not established competently that is unless we consider Roe Wade not that law of the land. However the reference to slaves, though a good one, is no longer debatable law. Back then it was, but now it is not so in that case there is no slack in how the law should be enforced as there still is in the ''choice'' of a woman to control her own body.

No one is legislating control over womens bodies.
A baby inside a womb is it's own body. A womans body is just carrying it.

Do you see what you have just done there? You made one absolute statement'' no one is legislating control over women's bodies'' and then in the very next sentence refuted your first sentence because THEY ARE.

THis makes a woman out to be little more than a host for society to breed it's future.

Excuse me? Did I just wake up in the twilight one?

Yes, it is human! The chromosomal structure is uniquely human. That is established fact and has been known for literally thousands of years. It is also alive.

We can talk about abortion rights, viability, sentience, heartbeat indications, etc, etc, etc... but to say it's not known to be human? Really?

Oh yeah, getting past the juvenile behavior. I agree. But don't you think that her message was just that? Her pointing out the ludicrousness of the ''heart beat'' law with one just as easily ludicrous. Hoping of course that people can see just how ludicrous both are? And that was the gist of my original reply, apparently OP could not and hence interpreted the entire thing from only one vantage point, his own.

So, my whole problem with the abortion racket is basically it only favors women. When I see a bill like this it misses the point. I used to be pro choice but now by default I’m pro life because it’s the only side that makes sense. But I don’t want to be pro-life but at least then it’s a very level playing field because what about the man? Seriously. What. About. The. Man. Screw this metoo crap. Women take and take and take some more.

Calling for child support at 8 weeks is insane. Many women use children as monetary extortion from what I’ll deem as “donors”.

Ever had an accident and then say you didn’t want the child?

I have and it became quite clear to me quite quickly how men have zero say. I was told no. Then I tried to revoke my paternal rights. Again told no. So now I’m being extorted to pay for a child I didn’t want.

Why not make this simple?

Rape - abortion. That’s an easy solution if wanted.

Abortion - probably not a good idea to take it too far into the second trimester.

Men’s Choice - while it may be the female’s body the men are most definitely on the hook for what’s growing and will come out of that body. So why not allow men the ability to remove themselves if the woman wants to keep the child? Then the woman will have to accept that HER choice will be HER financial responsibility. A male is given a certain amount of time to exercise this choice and then the woman can either decide to push forward knowing the financial responsibility falls squarely on her shoulders or she can abort. Fairness.

This is all about female control and weakening the male. Always has been and always will be.
