I'm close enough to Sacramento to drive over to buy you a beer while you're here, if you'd like.

Be safe my friend.

Don't let yourself wander into Granite Regional Park at night.

If it has all the symptoms of a ghetto, you'll know you're in the hood.

DBCowboy was never heard from again...

The End

P.S. I claim his Merle Haggard 45s, Skoal and boot collections

Appreciate that but I'm on the corporate dime this trip. I have to spend my time here dodging ICE and sucking up to my corporate masters.

Day two of my sojourn into enemy territory.

After a grueling day of sitting and then some talking, my corporate masters deemed it necessary to go out and eat and drink.

This is in the leftist paradise of California so I had to go in disguise.

Man-bun wig in place I chose an ambiguous gender and threatened to sue anyone who didn't refer to me in a manner that I thought appropriate.

Why couldn't everyone just "tell" that I was gender-pineapple-centric!

We all beat helpless people with sticks who reminded us of a variety of Gunther's and laughed and laughed.

It was a dark day.

My final full day is tomorrow.

I may have to order kale or something if I am still to fit in.

I do find it amusing you refer to California as enemy territory as you live in Oregon. Portland if not mistaken.
I find it hard to visit my birth state- It has gone off the rails. But you do you sir.
I'll raise a toast to you in your quest to fit in with us Cali folk.
In fact tomorrow while I'm having my black coffee, before going to work, I'll wander down the street to watch the horses trot on the ranch in my little suburbia.
