It doesn't matter how much the wall is going to cost because the Mexicans are going to pay for it. I heard trump himself tell us that and he doesn't lie.

Since "they" are against everything President Trump does, it's stands to reason that their Border Wall Resistance stems from the same psychopathic mindset.

But, we're going also learn that some top Democrats and Republicans RECEIVE MONEY covertly, from supporting illegal activities tied to our southern border.

Is that really relevant to whether it is a good idea, or not?

That line is generally used by ppl who have no real arguement about the actual policy.

But that's fine. Carry on. Addressing the acual issue might be time better spent though.

the wall is a political tool,,,,visual political masturbation,,,both sides can see it and get pleasure from it

the wall doesn't change the fact that there are 25+ million criminals illegals in america

take your pick, if you think that the criminal illegals are working or not

if they are not working, then they are either living off your tax money because i don't see the criminals dying on the streets
or
they are employed and that means that they are taking jobs from americans plus...

do you think the criminals are taking less money than americans for doing the same work??

They do both. The wife stays at home (some work also) drawing welfare benefits off their anchor babies while the hubby's working under the table. So, not only is he taking a citizens job away and dropping the pay scale for others, he's also not paying taxes into our welfare system they're both fraudulently and criminally milking. It's pretty f'd up really.

That kind of arrangement is no secret and there is no pressure for the government to stop such.
Those people are government dependent, and will vote to continue the same when given the opportunity.
It is pretty f'ed up.
The programs are for our citizens, they are the ones who lose.

Pretty clear that since trump got money for the wall in the budget and he is asking for more in the next budget that shows that congress is dealing with the situation and there is no emergency that a court will uphold.

Now migrants have found several places where the wall is within the usa. They simply show up to the wall on the mexico side and claim asylum in the usa and we have to hear their claims cause they have stepped foot on usa soil. So spin however you want but the wall does nothing to stem the flow of asylum seekers into the usa and something has caused the number of people claiming asylum to increase very much.

All the efforts by this admin at the border have failed. Hell they even tried to argue in court that it would be too hard to reunite families they separated at the border. I suppose they were planning on keeping the children in cages for ever. It is pretty sick that so many here can not see past their hate and political influences.

powers granted to the potus by congress are not up for debate by the courts

§1621. Declaration of national emergency by President; publication in Federal Register; effect on other laws; superseding legislation (a) With respect to Acts of Congress authorizing the exercise, during the period of a national emergency, of any special or extraordinary power, the President is authorized to declare such national emergency. Such proclamation shall immediately be transmitted to the Congress and published in the Federal Register.

Authoritarianism refers to the advocacy or enforcement of strict obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom, and is commonly associated with a lack of concern for the opinions or needs of others. Authoritarian personality syndrome—a well-studied and globally-prevalent condition—is a state of mind that is characterized by belief in total and complete obedience to one’s authority. Those with the syndrome often display aggression toward outgroup members, submissiveness to authority, resistance to new experiences, and a rigid hierarchical view of society. The syndrome is often triggered by fear, making it easy for leaders who exaggerate threat or fear monger to gain their allegiance.

It would be grossly unfair and inaccurate to say that every one of Trump’s supporters have prejudice against ethnic and religious minorities, but it would be equally inaccurate to say that many do not. It is a well-known fact that the Republican party, going at least as far back to Richard Nixon’s “southern strategy,” used strategies that appealed to bigotry, such as lacing speeches with “dog whistles”—code words that signaled prejudice toward minorities that were designed to be heard by racists but no one else.

There is only one court case that i am aware. Cali v trump

There are no updates i can find but it has been accepted as you say. It is a legit suit and from what i heard early on the funds have been put on hold until the suit is decided.

However in the mean time there is funds that potus is using besides the funds in the spending bill. It is funds shuffled around by the doj that is being spent right now and the appropriated funds.

There is not much reporting going on right now on either.

The wall is dumb anyhow since people do not even have to cross it now to claim asylum. They just walk up to it and we have to go get them.

No way this goes on much further.

Nancy Pelosi has a lot of nerve, saying today that President Trump should not be impeached. I was looking forward to that fight!
