Not popular at all tbh. 6 revamps in five years.
No one's arsed she is a female but Larson certainly was and brought #ty politics into what should not be political.
I saw it and Larson was just really badly cast , no charisma and her acting was poor. The story wasn't very good and the character development was none existent.
Heck I even though the cat was just meh and the cat was the best thing about the movie.

Well, I have found nothing that says that Brie Larson hates white men.

So I don't see the argument as valid.

If you want to hate Captain Marvel, then I guess that's your business. Doesn't stop me from enjoying the film.

The best thing I've been able to find is that the movie is "meh," it doesn't know what direction it should go - buddy cop, fish out of water, or something else - and Larson is really miscast.

Some of the spoilers are problematic in the sense that I'm not sure how they reconcile the things they did with what we've been shown/told in earlier movies.

And the Kree are just "refugees" now?

If thats how you feel then its your opinion. But her appearance in the MCU has been carefully plotted the same as Dr Strange, Panther etc.

She is FAR less forced than Spiderman was.

You do know Captain marvel is not on the list you provided don't you.
Captain marvel was just a poor movie, poor casting and a bit meh.
But yeah follow Larson and blame us men for being a crap movie.
Alita battle angel was a ten times better movie with an actual strong female lead but she didn't have to tell us how strong she was she just was.
