Who cares. Have you ever heard the expression, "different strokes for different folks?" So what's the big deal as long as the man respects the woman and vice versa?

Men Prefer Less 'Feminine' Looking Women For Long-Term Relationships

But in making long-term choices, men "may actually prefer less attractive/feminine women," they added.

Interesting article, says men prefer pretty/feminine for a fling, and less feminine for long term..

So my advice for you is to look pretty to snag a fellow, and then when you do it is sweatpants time! LOL

I don't really see the change in appetites from the people I come into contact with either. Attraction still seems to be the classic signs of fertility and health that I grew up with. The hour glass shape of a female that indicates ability to carry to term and care for new life evidenced by hips & chest ratio. The symmetry of the face and body that possibly indicates good genes.

And if they are nice on top of it all, bonus.

Anybody see porn lately?

There is a bunch of guys that had boobs installed.

Outside of Hollyweirdfacetwitredtubebookville, we still love pretty women.

Am I not allowed to wonder with people of ATS if eventually we will all dress like people on Star Trek?
Or that maybe aliens are really super advanced humans that no longer needed gender identification, and maybe
that is where we are headed in the future?

I.D.I.C.

Infinite Diversity In (or was it, Infinite?) Combination

Perhaps there are aliens among us, shepherding us toward a future where gender identity is less culturally significant?

Or perhaps it’s just that gender roles, and their signifiers, become less “static” as the overall intelligence of the species increases?

I look like a girl in sweatpants too, though...

It's fine. I think I've crossed over into just appreciating my own space too much. I'm not sure I even could live with anyone anymore. 😂😂

No woman I know wants a man who looks and acts like a woman.

No man I know wants a woman who looks and acts like a dude.

Kids in high school haven’t finished developing yet, and commercials and YouTube posers don’t count.

So I really can’t say I agree with you.

Yes, as much as a small lunatic fringe and the media likes to push it.

The reality is exactly as you describe.

YOU CANNOT OVERRIDE BASIC HUMAN NATURE WITH PSUDO NEW AGE JUNK SCIENCE!!!

It's kind of sad watching people try though.

My mother said that people should marry young, as they age they get too picky and defined in their tastes.
Those are some real words of wisdom right there.

I also believe that some people are actually better single, I know our culture doesn't embrace that though.

I think women who don't shave their backs are quite a turn-on.

You'd like my GF then, her nickname is Chewbaca!

I was thinking more like this www.youtube.com...

Left a Black Hole in my banking from 1990 to 2004, but oh what a midlife crisis.

Now I'm just comfortably numb and quite content.

Don't want no dudechick, it's Shalimar all the way....

Women had more free time to experiment with makeup in the 1940s.

Does this mean that females will stop hiding behind a face of lies, makeup?

That would be awesome if true and I would fib all day long to say that butch is the wave of the future, if makeup went the way of the dinosaur.

I'm thinking more of an androgynous look for both. Maybe a little more makeup for men, a little less for women, meeting somewhere in the middle.

The androgynous 'look' happens naturally for women post menopause (as estrogen levels cease); enjoy 'feminosity' while you can!

There’s many studies on birth control pills influencing a woman’s choice of partner, swinging it to the feminine side.

Women of the past farther back than the 1900’s were more basic and masculine- at least imo. Look at some of the portraits of old queens etc. most just had that same old founding fathers look.

I can’t speak for males, I think doing less physical work makes one less physically fit and capable, so the rise of more modern lifestyles have changed the need to be as masculine.

Interesting subject

Oh man, I bet there is a great story in there. Something to educate the young ones on. Was it worth it? Do the memories of pleasure outweigh the memories of the pain?

I have never had long term success and agree with JAG, the single life for some is paradise enough, at least it is for me.

Frankly only libtards suffer from this.

I see absolutely zero evidence outside of that mentally weak group who love embracing these types of things.

Noone i know likes masculine women and the women despise effeminate men.

The college hippy group really have always had their different issues, they love destroying all that is including themselves.

LoL the agenda is too MAKE people this way but it really will not work in most areas...in fact the trends are reversing and only 28-40 year olds in this category seem to be holding on to the brain damaged reality they are possessed by.

A real man regardless of how he looks, has no problem dealing in a social/sexual context with masculine or feminine appearing women.

Fashion/culture is strange that way....

Not true at all, masculine looking women are only good for using as a training partner at the gym, no real man wants to be around the weird confused energy flowing from them.

LOL so what its more mainstream its been going on for years pretty much since hair bands in the 80's LOL 2 of my buddies basically were into that stuff and we always gave them some grief, lol but both of them were able to tap into a different audience female wise, made for interesting house parties. Both were good friends and are excellent people
today.

Its just who people identify with, no more no less. I've always liked less effeminate women anyway, but have dated all kinds and wouldn't rule any woman out that I got along with.Really mostly naked they are the same LOL or they used to be LOL.
