It's crap like these show trials and the bought-and-paid for legal system, that keeps me from getting cable. That and the ads and other propaganda shovelled out by both the Left and the Right.

As I've heard it said before, my "givea#" is broken, when it comes to the circus trials of media and celebrities.

Today, Mesereau resumes his opening statement.

8:35 AM PST: Resuming his opening statement, Mesereau came out blasting this morning, aiming his fire at the accuser and his siblings, saying that while the children were initially well behaved, they became "out of control" while in residence at Jackson's Neverland Ranch. Mesereau told jurors that they:
* Broke into the estate's wine cellar
* Broke into a refrigerator
* Stole alcohol that Jackson had ordered for guests (and were found drunk by ranch employees)
At Neverland's amusement park, they were discovered at the top of a ferris wheel, where they threw objects at elephants and people.

·Addressing the stash of porno magazines discovered in his home during a November 2003 raid, Mesereau said, "Mr. Jackson will freely admit that he does read girly magazines from time to time." But, Mesereau added, Jackson kept titles like Playboy and Hustler in a briefcase. When the accuser and his brother removed magazines from the briefcase, Mesereau said, Jackson took them back from the boys (this would seem to serve as the defense explanation for why the fingerprints of Jackson and the boys were recovered from the magazines).

He also noted that forensic investigators did not discover the accuser's DNA in Jackson's bedroom, where multiple acts of molestation allegedly occurred.

In fact, I think SkepticOverlord acting so quick, and decisivly, shows how much he cares about this site, and how hardworking he is.

I think it is not right! Just because most think he is a freak, because he had a hard life, no childhood, no happiness even though he was rich beyond neasure, he tried to help children all over the world and he did with the song, colloborated with Linel Ritchie, "We are the world" , it raised millions for those starving in africa.
In this case, no molestation took place but two weeks after the tape was aired the boy and the mother said Michael started abusing him......... 2 weeks after the tape, now, if he did molest this boy, who asked himself to see michael and at that time the boy was dying from cancer. and Michael paid his hospital expenses and nursed him until he was healthy again, if this is how the family repays him, then that is awful, they will have ruined a man's reputation, and for all of you who have him guilty right now, wait for the evidence I'm sure you'll think differently!

Boy talk about pre-judging this case....this trial has been labled as an "idiotic distraction" by the top dog. Who's distracted?

I think the 'idiotic distraction' phrase was refering the media coverage of the trial, and not trial itself.

so the jackson case is banned from discussion? what about banning some other nonsence like billy maier, sylvia brown, james van praagh, john titor aussie bloke,........................?

i find the jacksontrial more interresting than any bull about the above mentioned, so i will find other places to discuss the king of pop.

anyway i do not like to be told about what i am allowed to talk about or not. is there a forumrule that states that the jacksontrial is not to be talked about.

i mean if a greedy woman using their kids to make money from an innocent man isnt a conspiration, what is???
