Re: Statement federal vaccine mandates

Feb. 26, 2019

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) strongly opposes federal interference in medical decisions, including mandated vaccines. After being fully informed of the risks and benefits of a medical procedure, patients have the right to reject or accept that procedure. The regulation of medical practice is a state function, not a federal one. Governmental preemption of patients’ or parents’ decisions about accepting drugs or other medical interventions is a serious intrusion into individual liberty, autonomy, and parental decisions about child-rearing.
...

Statem ent on Federal Vaccine Mandates

There has been a push to force vaccinations on children, and even on adults, by certain people who would rather force their own views on others, than to accept the decision of others on whether to be vaccinated, or have their children vaccinated, with certain vaccines.

Whether you agree with vaccination, everyone should leave others to make their own decisions.

Some states are even pondering to force vaccinations on children without their parent's consent. These sort of people rather try to shame parents who would make their own decisions, than to allow them to make an informed decision for themselves and their children.

In response for the calls to "force vaccinations," the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons decided to write a statement in which they unanimously oppose "forced vaccination."

In the letter the risks of some vaccines are addressed such as:

...
Vaccines are necessarily risky, as recognized by the U.S. Supreme Court and by Congress. The Vaccine Injury Compensation Program has paid some $4 billion in damages, and high hurdles must be surmounted to collect compensation. The damage may be so devastating that most people would prefer restored function to a multimillion-dollar damage award.

The smallpox vaccine is so dangerous that you can’t get it now, despite the weaponization of smallpox. Rabies vaccine is given only after a suspected exposure or to high-risk persons such as veterinarians. The whole-cell pertussis vaccine was withdrawn from the U.S. market, a decade later than from the Japanese market, because of reports of severe permanent brain damage. The acellular vaccine that replaced it is evidently safer, though somewhat less effective.

The risk: benefit ratio varies with the frequency and severity of disease, vaccine safety, and individual patient factors. These must be evaluated by patient and physician, not imposed by a government agency.
...

Statem ent on Federal Vaccine Mandates

And the most important part in the statements says as follows:

...
AAPS believes that liberty rights are unalienable. Patients and parents have the right to refuse vaccination, although potentially contagious persons can be restricted in their movements (e.g. as with Ebola), as needed to protect others against a clear and present danger. Unvaccinated persons with no exposure to a disease and no evidence of a disease are not a clear or present danger.
...

Statem ent on Federal Vaccine Mandates

What say you ATSers?

Do you agree that people have a right to accept or refuse vaccinations?

If women get to have control over their own body then everyone should be able to have control over their own body. Equal rights and stuff, right?

These specialists know that some people get cytokine storms from vaccines and these storms can lead to severe problems and even death. Mandating vaccines could lead to genocide on certain individuals with a strong innate immunity.

I do understand that some people do need vaccines and for maybe five percent the vaccine still won't give them protection if their immune system can't be stimulated by the vaccine.. I am not an antivaxer but know of these cytokine storms because I and one daughter from my first marriage and her kids get these storms, especially from the flu vaccine for some reason. I also get a bad reaction similar to whooping cough from the DTAP. I never had a problem with just a tetanus shot though.

These adverse reactions are well documented in medicine, and this does run in families. They are not rare, about ten percent or more of the population may have these in this country, the number is not known because when one person in a family has a bad reaction to the shot, most times others in that family do not get them. These people have immunity, their immune system does know how to fight the virus or pathogen and usually they do not get too sick, killing the virus quickly.

It is good to see that some major players are trying to protect these people who have this immunity.

I would like to see how they determined these numbers, but I can't find the paper regarding this graphic. I can't imagine they could have determined the people who got the flu shot who wouldn't have gotten the flu anyway, therefore making the effectiveness seem higher than it actually would be.

The strange thing is I hardly ever get the flu, I can't even remember the last time I got it. But the shots cause this storm. I suppose the triggers are injhected inside the body so my body panics and throws everything it has at something harmless. It takes a couple of days to get all fired up. I originally thought I got the flu from it, but learned after the second time from the doctor what had happened, he told me I probably should not take the flu shot, every doctor since has told me the same thing. The thing is, you can't really know until you get the shot and then get sicker than you have ever been. A good Finn has to try it twice to make sure the mistake is a mistake.

As opposed to embracing forced vaccination on others?

We are not here to discuss any other topics. Whether you agree with them or not, they are doctors.

BTW, "government enforced healthcare" was also "forced" by some evil group... What was their name?... It stars with N and ends with S...

You do realize that if they are allowed to force vaccines by a majority vote, they can possibly use that as precedence to sterilize men and women to control the population. Both men and women can be done with a single injection.

Think about that, precedence is used a lot in this country.

Once you get the flu, you get immunity to it for life usually. Your immune system knows how to fight it even if it mutates a little bit.

The push for pro-vaccinations is in result of the massive influx of illegals into sanctuary cities where the reside.

Recent news spoke of 200 illegals infected with the Mumps.

The conspiracy is that the US is pushing to protect us from the diseases carried in to our country by unvaccinated illegals.

I'm actually deathly allergic to the flu vaccine.

One jab will make me room temp.

Almost did 15 years ago.

The association is generally recognized as politically conservative or ultra-conservative, and its publication advocates a range of scientifically discredited hypotheses, including the belief that HIV does not cause AIDS, that being gay reduces life expectancy, that there is a link between abortion and breast cancer, and that there is a causal relationship between vaccines and autism.

These people are NOT legitimate in ANY way.
