It is a perspective, while also a superior intelligence.

This is available to you, and requires very low effort to achieve.
That should be reason enough for you.

What you will do is to start reflecting about the thoughts you are having.
The effort required from you is to take notice of the thoughts you are having,
until you realize that you do not have to remind yourself to do so.

It will mean that your brain has understood that it can achieve further information by
reflecting on the information it states. As an effect, your mind will teach itself to multitask.

The closest I can get in painting you a picture of this is, imagine going 3D.

It can be a tremendous thing, but can also be a horrendous one, at times.

Yes it seems so obvious, but, paradoxically it also seems obvious that it is not obvious.

But... then I'll be taking myself into a surrealist conundrum and eventually I'll enter into gibbs paradox, where my thoughts will drift towards quantum infinity, and fade away into a soft, hanging cadence.

Actually, that sounds like a nice way to go..

So turn the brain into a multi core processor running multiple threads simultaneously? Sounds tiring.
Will i need to add extra cooling? Like one of those ball caps with the fan on top?

You mean becoming self-aware?

Hello!

Whata you are saying is already established in Western knowledge.

Jesus said for us to think only of today and not worry about tomorow.

Transactional Analysis also suggests that we deal with the now, but also uses the model of parent, adult, child ego as the three main types of persona we assume in interactions. For example, right now I am speaking to you as adult to adult. Now, I am wanting to tell you that you are describing something that is already known.

Transactional Analysis was founded by Eric Berne, and the famous 'parent adult child' theory is still being developed today. Transactional Analysis has wide applications in clinical, therapeutic, organizational and personal development, encompassing communications, management, personality, relationships and behaviour.

Jesus and Berne made me aware of this. I coupled this with the "reflection skills" I was instructed in during social care/nurse training and acadmeic further education. Those I regard as helping me most to become self aware are Jesus, a poet called TS Eliot, Jung and Berne.

Well spotted. I hope you continue to develop these skills. This is a great help to us in terms of developing and maintaining consciousness, but we will never be completely out of the dark, I fear, not in this version of earth, may be when we are "like the Angels" as Jesus said we would become.

When I analyse why I bothered to write this to you and ther other ATS members it is because I wanted to encourage you, to share my own ideas and observations in order to further understanding and to inform you about others who are very gifted in their perception and what they have taught in terms of consciousness raising and awareness teaching.

I'd read the Ts n C's you agreed to follow.

*This is the introduction only forum, a place to tell us about yourself.
*You need to make a certain # of reply-posts to make a thread like this.
*Some, you can't post in for awhile.

I'd read up, ck out the "Board" and
"Freshman" forum to learn what you can and can't do and when and why/why not...how to link pics, quotes, credit sources, what sites are known hoax sites..and what can get you banned or a thread removed..

You could become a potentially great contributor...and I'll ck back when you've made the required # of post replies.

Welcome to ATS

M.S.

Try having epilepsy and learning to utilize the extra paths available. I am loosing all of my cooling hairs on my head though, I may have to install fans in my ears.
