Police in Pennsylvania Are Abusing the State's Hate Crime Law to Punish Speech

It’s Time to Crush Campus Censorship
www.nationalreview.com...
You can keep saying there is no attack on free speech in America. And if you tell the lie often enough, you might actually believe it.
The free speech advocacy group released a report in December 2018 claiming more than a quarter of colleges openly and significantly restrict free speech on campus, earning a red-light rating. The same report said nearly 90 percent of Pennsylvania colleges unconstitutionally restricted some amount of speech, earning a yellow-light rating.

How Democrats are destroying American’s right to free speech

Margie McIntyre was an Ohio mom who opposed an effort by the school system to raise taxes. She handed out leaflets, some of which did not have her name on them, at a public meeting. For this act she was fined $100 by the Ohio Elections Commission in a case that wound up at the Supreme Court. The OEC wasn’t concerned about an onslaught of leafletting moms. It wanted to send a message to others: When the state wants something, don’t get in our way.

Yea dying... as you share your thoughts and criticism on the most influential invention towards free speech in human history. The internet.

Yes there's a bunch of words I bet you can't type here without getting your post censored.
I miss the internet of 25 years ago. No advertisements. No commercialism. Nobody censoring anything.
Say whatever. If you don't like it don't read it. It also helps identify people you don't want anything to do
with easily. It's hard to do that when control freaks think they are swinging big because they have access
to the control panel in the software of a web sight and can feel high and mighty exercising their GOD-LIKE
powers over others. Ooo yeah feel the power of the ban hammer. It's pathetic. People like that used to
have a short life online in the good old days but now they have the keys to the kingdom in Internet 2.0.
The people are going to have to come up with a new network because this one is borked.

We may b able to post on social media sites but if what we post is deemed offensive to some, that post gets deleted. Take ATS for example. We are having our thoughts and opinions shut down. If we can't have an opinion, then what is the point?
Privately owned & run forum is private, whatever the three amigos decide for rules & etiquette is what they decide, regardless of whether or not you agree with them, or want to clutch a box of tampons and cry about it.
Big freakin' difference between government not being able to legally tell you to STFU, and owners of places you traipse into.
just so we get things straight... I'm not crying... merely pointing out that free speech is being shut down. Free thought is being shut down.
To be blunt, you don't understand what freedom of speech within the limits of the law is to begin with, and are on one hell of an entitlement pedestal.
Let's be clear, and try this again.
Government cannot tell you "Unapproved political talk bad, STFU or go to jail."

'Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.'. The quote is most likely due to writer and philosopher George Santayana, and in its original form it read, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.".
