Well there’s a difference between speaking figuratively and speaking literally. Noone’s saying we need to get in a boxing ring to solve problems.

Literally speaking the premise of the Original Post is lame, if you live in the God Blessed United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, you can pretty much say what you want.

I understand that you don’t care. But no one cares whether you care or not.

Free speech is a human right, and as far as I can tell, not all humans live in the United States.

So? We can say pretty much whatever we want here.

Move, change it or suck it up.

To some, the denial of fundamental human rights is an issue worth fighting for. Whether you care about it or not is literally no one’s concern but your own.

You mean like allowing pedophiles to go up to children and say whatever they like?

I seriously hope you’re not a parent.

That escalated quickly.

Not really. It’s their ”free speech” after all. Something you’re completely 100% for.

I don’t understand what you’re getting at.

100% free speech is a myth and, in the real world, doesn’t work.

Try coming up to me and start talking to my 1 month old and you’re a pedo (or say things inappropriate), and expect your “free speech” to be met with my censoring fist.

Did I miss something? Did the US Government crack down on free speech?

Have you not been paying attention to the news outlets? Social media outlets? Shutting people down... people who tell the truth. If we can't have the truth, what do we have?

Just taking my free speech out for a walk. My, what a wonderful day here in the land of free speech, glad I don't live somewhere lame where they don't have any.

We may b able to post on social media sites but if what we post is deemed offensive to some, that post gets deleted. Take ATS for example. We are having our thoughts and opinions shut down. If we can't have an opinion, then what is the point? We can't question anything the mainstream media say or what certain people say or do.

Children can not have an opinion of their own as they get drilled into their minds what is right, moral and just and they can't question it in class or they are bigots, phobes or any other..

You mean the internet? Where free speech has pretty much never existed? The thing that’s GLOBAL and not limited to a single country?

Here’s a real simple solution: Don’t like the rules? Don’t use the site. *simples*

The authoritarian impulse is strong in many. One of the many ways to maintain standing with the powerful is to tacitly defend their authority.

Of course you don’t. You obviously learned after your bans, not to stock up for pedophiles “free speech”.

Happy to see you’re learning! (even if it does go against your total free speech bs)

What?

Well, hopefully you’d punch any predator who approached your child, whether he spoke or not.
