i went 2 for 3 on mt picks

Askren vs Lawler went about how i expected. i didnt think Askren was going to get smashed for a quick minute like he did but after he recovered thats what i expected.
i expect pretty much all of his fights to go that way.

people bitching about the fight being stopped early.
i guess you could make a case for that.

his arm went limp for a second so either he faked it or we could not see how deep Askren had the bulldog.
i would have liked to see it go a few more seconds but ultimately Lawler was doing to no defense game and just sitting there so the end result would have been the same.

Askren baby!!!!!!!!

Woodley vs Usman i got wrong.
i thought Woodley was going to work him but Usman destroyed him for all 5 rounds.
absolute destruction.

Usman landed 336 significant strikes and Woodley only landed 60.
it is worth noting that the majority of those shots Usman hit were to the body.
he just worked him man.

Woodley made some comments that D2 wrestling is not the same as D1
he is right. its not

last night though Usman the D2 all american out wrestled Woodley the D1 national champ.

happy for Marty from Nebraska.
now i want to see Askren and Usman fight but Askren has to win a couple first.

Jones vs Smith.
Jones got the win which is what i expected. i did not expect it to go to the decision.
thought Jones would have finished him.

either way man Jones is a scary guy.
very creative in the way he mixes it up.
hard not to call him the Goat.

for me last night was all about Askren though.

I had my "They Live" glasses on whilst I read your post and all I read was:

Torn Ligaments

Fractured Bones

Sprained muscles

Ouchy!

Sorry.

I used to love watching MMA till I met an organizer for the fights.

Dude it's all staged. Though at times ones ego can get in the way and change up things.
Kinda like NFL or the NBA and MLB.
Tis why I stick with collage sports.

Meh, I'm not paying to see a fight.
Never have, never will.
