I Must Have Magic Powers

...OR this is just a ridiculously incredible coincidence.


BACKGROUND:

Bought a house a few years back...and, since moving in, we have basically renovated every square inch of the place...inside and out.

The interior and exterior is now finished...and the property has been completely landscaped with patios, stone walkways, walls, stone fountains, fencing, mucho new plantings of trees and shrubs, etc.

The other day, I was walking down the long drive (also new) to grab the mail from the mailbox...and, walking back, I stopped and looked over the front of the house...admiring all the work we have had done to the place and how nice it all looked.

ONE thing stood out to me as out of place to the rest of the front of the home...and that was a single tall paving-block retaining wall that wrapped around from the front to the side of the house.

It is large, but as I was having all the stone work done in the front...we decided it was in great shape and didn't look too incongruous with the stone fountain, walkways and stone front of the house.

So we left it.

As I was looking the front over...my eyes went back to that wall and realized it bothered me (I'm a perfectionist)...but, again, it is in great shape...it still matched pretty well...and thought it would be a major expense to tear out and replace with actual stone boulders.


So I smirked at it...pointed my finger at it like a gun and said "BOOM"!...imagining it blowing up so I could picture it with actual boulders.

Having done so...I walked back inside.

Yesterday evening, my wife and I were watching TV and we heard a loud crashing sound....we looked around inside for the cause, but found everything in place.

I'm sure you've figured this out already...but this morning...I went outside and discovered that the entire wall had collapsed.

Just as I had imagined it...the day before.

Pretty good at creating my own reality here, but demolition is on a whole knew level.

Please don't gaze at any maps of focus on any fault lines. That shiz is very powerful and becomes even more powerful once you have proved to yourself it is possible.
