He remained in the primary until the very last second and he lost to Hillary in votes.. Just how did the DNC screw him???
The American people rejected him...It took a long time before he opened his eyes and saw it but thats what happened.

He got voted off the island by the American people....

Superdelegate votes beat him.

And I assure you all, there is no way trump will win again. Sorry to break it to you. I called the last three elections accurately, it’s pretty easy if you pay attention, and I guarantee you that trump is not going to have a second term. Yes, in your echo chamber here there’s plenty trumpetteers but most people will see through his con game when the economy begins to tank which I expect will be near the end of this year or the beginning of the next. And I promise you this, if trump is still in office when it’s time to deal with the next bust, his solutions will only make it far worse. And nobody in his little nepotistic entitled Warhawk cabin have the ability or any desire to create any sort of recovery for the people from what the next crash will bring. It will be looting on a scale unimaginable.

I'll give you kudos if any of your predictions come true. So far not one single anti-Trump prediction has come true. Anti-Trumpers are somewhere between 0 for 10,000 and 0 for 25,000.

But hey, apology accepted.

“After analyzing public-use microdata for 2013 from the Current Population Survey (the same monthly survey that underpins the BLS’s wage and employment reports), we estimate that last year about 20.6 million people — 30% of all hourly, non-self-employed workers 18 and older — are in that “near-minimum-wage” category.

*snip*

That’s from 2014 so it may be worse now, as you said.

I didn't say anything about it possibly being worse - if I had said anything, I'd have assumed it would be better since Trump took office - and as your numbers clearly show, I would have been right, by a large shot...

The year those numbers are based on is 2013, vs 2017 for the BLS numbers I referenced, and utilize a smaller sample size - 18 and older, vs the 16 and older used in the 2017 BLS numbers - so comparing the two shows that the number of low income earners has gone down substantially.

Thanks for confirming that Trump is doing an excellent job with the economy!

Then there’s this

www.oxfamamerica.org...

Yeah, no real numbers, just a lot of leftist ideological mumbo jumbo, like 'hardworking low wage earners' and a silly complaint about the EITC welfare/handout 'not reaching enough people'...

And the only this one with graphs 1 and 7 from bls showing a pretty large amount of those making at or below minimum wage are 25 and older

www.bls.gov...

Yes, and the majority are unskilled laborers.

If someone wants to earn more, they need to acquire marketable skills, not cry for more welfare.

Again, entry level jobs were never intended to be something that someone should expect to live very well on (if at all), and certainly not to raise a family on.

Well, as the article had the workforce at 157 million in 2014, but according to you it’s 80 million now, so that’s a bit of a drop.

And considering that whatever you think minimum wage jobs are “supposed” to do, they make up the majority of the replacement for what used to be middle class jobs. And household debt is exploding, student loan debt and defaults exploding, subprime loans and defaults exploding. Not signs of a great economy.

You mean future tense right?

I bet your an economic scholar.

Can you tell me the impact that the fed increasing its balance sheets while raising rates at the same time will have long term economically?

I realize your ignorant but I want to know how ignorant.

*you're

That's twice in one post. Maybe dial down on the "your ignorant" responses.

All the Socialists should run in the Socialist party. At least they will all have an excuse when Trump gets re-elected. Did you miss the story about 43 of 50 states polling as leaning or heavily conservative.

The only way Dims ever win is by cheating. They know that's what they will have to do to win.

That's why they call Voter ID laws "voter suppression."

the undoing of our system will be the result of people not listening to valid concerns over the direction our economy and culture has taken in the last 20-30 years

you are bringing this upon yourselves, you should take note

Concerns like the border wall that's been promised since the 90's? Putting laws in place to slow down drugs and trafficking since the 90's? A booming economy since the mid 2000's? Justice reform since the justice system was founded? Black unemployment rates since blacks were allowed to work?

What other valid concerns can you think of that Trump hasn't handled or tried to handle but has been interfered with by the left?

If a democrat becomes president and any of their policies are enacted, I fully believe the entirety of Gen Z will be in dire poverty, as will the rest of us who work.

If it came to that, I'd have to ask if my job could pay me below minimum wage and give me the rest of what I make under the table. I'd rather quit working than bust my ass under socialist administrations.

Right. Cause giving 6% of my pay to socialized medicine is so much worse than paying 11.5% of my pay to health insurance and Medicare.

It looks like Presidential Candidate BERNIE SANDERS actually likes MADURO's style of governing Venezuela! Look what Bernie said during a CNN Town Hall tonight.

During a town hall on CNN on Monday, Democratic presidential candidate Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) defended his refusal to call Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro a dictator by saying that while the last election in Venezuela wasn’t democratic, “there are still democratic operations taking place” in Venezuela.

Moderator Wolf Blitzer asked, “Senator, why have you stopped short of calling Maduro of Venezuela a dictator?”

Sanders answered, “Well, he — I think it’s fair to say that the last election was undemocratic, but there are still democratic operations taking place in that country.

See that. That big red chunk should make you nervous and a lot of the pink one too.

Not sure if this includes people living off the government. If not add a few million more.. or tens of millions more

Better start looking at real economic data not the BS on Faux

There is one important caveat to keep in mind when thinking about our dataset. The SSA numbers include any wage earners whatsoever, even part-time workers like students and teenagers. If the worker reports his or her income to the IRS on a W2 form, he or she is included in these stats. This drags down the aggregate wage numbers for full-time working adults, which reach $61,372 for households last year.

Now check how many of that 100 million are part-time, the demographics will tell the complete story. No doubt there is a growing number of elderly that work part-time, Teens, young adults that are students often work part-time. Throw in many small businesses converted to part-time employees to avoid the Obama Healthcare crunch. ie they paid more in salaries it was just divided up into more people. LOL some people got 2 jobs, some like 2 jobs for the extra dough or just to keep busy, loads of delivery and Uber and Lift drivers etc. it's a second job. So are those 2 salaries counting as 1 person or 2.
