She is a UK citizen (as is her child).

She should be brought back to the UK and face trial here.

Hell no, she is the enemy and the problem with the world today.
Do not spend 1 dime on a trial.
Fake citizens. Not native in the last bit.
Make she cannot reproduce and more ugly losers

She was born the UK, in what way is she a fake citizen or not native?

Please do tell...

We need to get past the idea that because she was born there, that she is a citizen.
This lady, her family. Her religion are the complete opposite of what a UK citizen represents.

During a time of war she choose to leave her host country and fight for the enemy.
Revoking her citizen status is a no brainer.

Look at the world cup winners last year. France.
Thats great for France, but half the team arent french.

She met the UK criteria for being a citizen and had a UK passport.

You might not like that but it doesn't change the fact she was is a UK citizen.

I agree and the criteria needs to change...everyone in the world wants to get to the UK or the USA.

Leaving your host country to fight for the enemy should be automatic grounds for termination.

These animals look at host countires as being naive and very passive .
They ask themselves why would a place and people we hate accept us with open arms and give us free handouts?
And they are told it's naive peoole who do that.
They show zero respect for their host countires.

And what people done understand is that the reason why they are leaving their home countries in droves is because they failed as a civilization.
Their ideas, their way of thinking got them right where they are.
The notion of multiple marriages is a disaster when it comes to over population, lack of resources and incest issues.

And they will bring that mentality with them, which will only be a drain on any 1st world country.

What is really going on !

throw in some muslim hating and racism for good measure during further Brexit talks
to take the heat of government instead placing it directly into moral indignation about the citizenship of a terrorist

get us all focused on the hate of some lassie
instead of hating government for #ing us over a barrel

Suppose the timing is right.

I mean what's going on with Brexit and the government that "They" wish us to expend our attention on the likes of Begum?

Any new bills or laws being designed or passed to kill homeless people, the sick and mentally infirm, that we might have missed with all this Begum bull crap?

If anything she will just be used as a martyr for ISIS or any new caliphate if we do anything to her , if we exile her, then she will be a martyr , if we drone her Martyr , if we imprison her she will be a martyr!

If anything she as a UK citizen deserves a trial by her peers

but she has already openly stated she left to join an enemy of the state
so it should be an open and shut case, she has committed treason. But apparently the treason act was repealed!

So they did remove her citizenship without trial ?

If anything shes really just an attention piece to take on mind off the 29 March, or focus it, behind the anti-immigration aspects behind Brexit.

Begums the perfect example really, for the crazies to hate or rally behind, and one of our own ta boot.

And again, to be clear, i do not like this woman.

To be fair, I don't think anyone has actually expressed any fondness for her.
She's a revolting human being and I really struggle to have any sort of sympathy whatsoever for her.

I wonder if she felt any compassion for the families of Alan Henning and David Haines when they were so brutally slaughtered and their murders displayed for the whole world to see in such gruesome fashion?

But the law is the law and the Home Secretary (who i actually rather like) hasn't followed it.

Yes, I quite like Sajid far as I can like a politician.
He would only have been following legal advice from the Attorney General and Solicitor General and their offices.
Someone deserves a right royal kick up the arse for this cock up.

I can hardly preach adhesion to the law in one case and then advocate ignoring the law in another.
A predicament.

I know if she comes back here she will be gifted a flat/house with full benefits etc.
Free health care, free education for her child etc.
I wouldn't be surprised if her terrorist husband is granted refugee status or something.

And she'll continue preaching her message of hatred corrupting god knows how many other individuals.

She's a rotten apple beyond redemption and rotten apples only corrupt others unless they are excised.

Morally I feel we owe this girl absolutely nothing, legally....well it appears that might be something quite different.

Can't we just change the law?

If we were to take her to trial , it would surely be open and shut case, she openly admitted to joining an enemy of the state!

I am actually wondering if we should exploit our relationship with Saudi Arabia. The Saudi's actually have a fantastic record in rehabilitating Jihadi's - it is an insanely high percentage that go through their rehab system that renounce all Jihadi principles afterwards (and seemingly stick to it).

Possibly an avenue to explore?

"They" wish us to expend our attention on the likes of Begum?

Oh come on lads, you two are far, far better than this.....linking it to Brexit and then inferring that its some sort of deflection tactics.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Brexit so why try to link the two and it isn't racially driven....surely you see that?

As for deflection tactics; looking at the front page of nearly every single newspaper there's only one story dominating the press and it isn't this one.

But she's an idiot Freeborn, of course, she should not get to come home that's pretty much a given.

So why all this media attention and circus if not for other reasons?

As usual, we are looking the wrong way because "they" want us to.

If we are going to be stripping people of there U.K. Citizenship, let's start with the bastards responsible for the formation and armament of the likes of ISIS, just a thought.

As to Shamima Begum, stuff her, if she comes home legally or illegally, and is found we simply cannot guarantee her safety.

And nor should we.

Quite ironic really considering the influence and control Wahhabi's have in Saudi Arabia, their state sponsoring of many terrorist groups and the number of Saudi nationals who joined IS and other terrorist groups.

Got to say I was unaware of this programme and this is a fascinating read. Granted, it only touches the surface and can hardly be called an in depth study but quite an eye opener.

Unfortunately my natural scepticism and cynicism makes me suspect this....I will look into it a bit deeper.

well this type of tactic is expected by government , when something is not going well for government give the people something emotional to argue over. Like the morality of stripping away the citizenship of a 15 year old who left to fight for isis got groomed and dumped with a baby etc !

gets people arguing over , race , xenophobia, citizenship rights, all sorts of nonsense !
if people are arguing over that then they arent focusing on the matter at hand and that is how badly our government are dealing with the brexit negotiations.

It's so obvious just look at every major UK political debate , or vote and look at the media surrounding it , there is always some bull# piece which is designed to stir up the feels of the UK voting electorate.

If its not nationalism , its racism , xenophobia, finances, religion , anything they can divide us on to take the heat off them!

the way I see it is many of the liberal left will want to defend her for her legal rights as a UK citizen , entitled to a trial by her peers etc !
the right will want her citizenship stripped away for being an enemy to the state and will be a risk to our citizens should she be allowed to return
and that this is only further evidence we dont have control over our own borders etc !

that's just one immediate way I see this panning out among society already divided by a girls story when its not the main issue of the day.

even in the house they are already side lined by this discussion !
Our energy should be totally on brexit negotiations yet they have to now spend time reflecting on this case, or not as it seems her citizenship has already been removed without a trial !

A wee bit misdirection, best tool "They" have in there arsenal really.

And it works 99% of the time.

Divide and conquer being another one which works hand in hand with the misdirection.

There's a similar case breaking in the US - Trump seems to be showing his consistent inconsistency - and it's making news over there.

Nothing could distract from Brexit, it's become such an all encompassing's permeated into every aspect of current UK life.

This Independent Group could be the start or at least provide some impetus towards genuine reform of our outdated and unfit for purpose party political system....but I digress.

Makes me laugh, no "awww poor ISIS warrior male, he was groomed, it aint his fault" . Can really see the minority of posts here.

It's beyond me why anyone would have any sympathy for this vile pos. Fair trial, citizenship rights...really? She made her choice, packed and left.

Now it's up to 3 trying to come home with child, whom all are seeded by ISIS men. You think these women will raise their child with good This is their plan, carry the blood of a so called worthy ISIS warrior, they always scream and praise this message when they call for rape.

I can see the hate in her eyes.

I don't see this independent group stopping Brexit through or even changing it before 29 March.

Love that turn of phrase all the same "consistent inconsistency".

Sums up quite a bit going on and/or doing the rounds the now.

The baby did not do anything!

Whats being seeded by ISIS men got to do with anything?

Genetics has nothing to do with ISIS nor politics in general.

It's not just her eyes i can see hatred in especially if you harbour such for a poor infant child.
