The regime change and change from failed socialism is the will of the people.

A people suffering under socialist government and leaders desperately clinging to power.

Imagine if the entire world sanctioned the US, no imports in or out. That's what basically happened to Venezuela.

Bu-but socialism did that right?

[Cuba]?
[Venezuela]

Socialism on the chopping block? "Socialism always gives rise to tyranny".

This is a great speech.

Socialism is for one thing only, to give power to the ruling class.

Good thing it doesn't matter how you try to spin it, ultimately your opinions and mine are irrelevant in this case.

Ask the Venezuelan people if the believe the sanctions are responsible for the disaster they are in.

Their collective opinion is all that matters here.

Trump already made a massive fallacy on the history of socialism in regard to Cuba. Socialism wasn't even part of Cuba, communism was, and it wasn't the reason why it turned that way it was because the US pretty much went to war with them because of their involvement with the USSR. LIES.

Any sane person knows that the massive sanctions put on Venezuela caused all this.

You know, the more and more this fiasco with Trump, his wall, his tariffs, everything is starting to look like this is a fabrication to get ready to send troops to SA, and the wall is to take on massive influx of refugees.

Considering Trump is the very definition of the power hungry ruling class... I think I'll take take that quote with a grain of salt.

But feel free to keep drinking that kool aid mate... Apparently ignorance is bliss.

The majority of the Venezuelan people, and what they believe is all that matters here.

Ask them if they believe the sanctions are responsible.

I suppose the isolation and global sanctions on North Korea are to blame ultimately for the humanitarian disaster there, by your logic?

Don't bother answering that, I already know what you'll say. Or go ahead anyway. I've got better things to do with my time.

The country thrived under Chavez. It's more of a sanction, and leadership issue. Not a socialist one.

How come Bolivia isn't in shambles right now? Oh wait ... it's not filled with oil.

If your hoping that the Trump's Elliot's Opposition kid makes Venezuela great again you would surely mistaken and wrong. Socialism again didn't ruin Venezuela sanctions just ask the Cubans.

Its the embargo that has slowed down Cubans not Socialism.

False.

Officially, Cuba is Socialist. The only thing Communist is Cuba is the party name. Constitutional law allows for only one party, however they've never been able to fully set up a Communist society. After the fall of the USSR, they are now trying to emulate the Chinese model.

Its actually more accurate to say that its a military dictatorship with Socialist underpinnings and aspirations of full Communism.
