Censorship on this board has gotten out of hand........

I think before I belched criticism at the way this board is ran, I would have to answer the following questions:

1.) Am I paying for the service I am using? (in this case, NO, there is no service fee)
2.) If you answered no to 1., go to 5, else proceed to 3.
3.) Is the board being ran in a manner contradictory to the service agreement I contracted to pay for? NO, there is no contractual service agreement. (see number 1.)
4.) If you answered no go to 5. else proceed to 6.
5.) You're getting what you paid for then, what's the problem?

Hey, maybe he's just going through "something" right now? Calling him a bitch, or other names, in that case, is going a little too far.

I agree that he screwed up, and that he was basically wrong... and I also agree that he needs the "time out" william just gave him... but there's no need to call him names, especially if he is genuinely dealing with "problems".

I just got an e-mail from Colonel saying he is banned. Both he and I have a long history of getting banned from boards, although those boards were based in Hong Kong. He feels he was unfairly banned when someone (described by him as a racist) complained about his postings. Oh, well he is not really upset, and will not retalliate by using a proxy, etc. I've been on holiday and only know his side of the story.

Nothing new Freddie, just newer members some older getting upset about having to be civil and follow basic rules of respect. As this board is supossed to represent topics of conspiracy based interest in a mature fashion, I fail see why anyone would argue that by useing inappropriate language/text they can make a point more clear.

Simply put nothing more nothing less, I for one would like to see this situation resolved and forgotten. Or at least restricted to u2u's.

You know, sometimes people are having issues in the background when they reply in the forum. And we should be more responsible in that aspect. Sure, I've had my ego stepped on here a little too, but I've got thick skin. I totally agree that Abe went too far with several of his comments. I sat reading this thread, amazed at some of the stuff I read. However, the other members responded as a majority with demands and negative criticism. I'm also sorry to hear that Colonel was banned. I hope that Abraham and the Colonel can swallow their pride and behave to the staff's standards. I've enjoyed swapping opinions with both of them.

Surely "Colonel" didn't get banned. I thought he pulled back a bit and was attempting to discuss. Bujt then again, I've been at work today (You know, cleaning my Lugar and gassing helpless women and children) and you can miss alot at this board in a mere ten hours!!

If he reached 5 warnings, then there would be a temporary posting ban.
