People don't eat at resturants that serve food they don't like. The same holds true in forums. As William has pointed out before, if someone is not getting the attention they crave they will leave. The people who post here, all have the freedom choice. By using this choice wisely everyone here can and will guide the AST forum to it's intended nature.

No, Abe, I can't see that..

It's not there to be seen. This is a forum to talk about things most people consider crazy in a way that makes them look NOT crazy. It's not a public area as much as it's like a journal or newpaper's 'letters' section. Just as journals have the right to pass over publishing materials that do not meet their standards, or which are non related to their general topics, so, too, do mods and admins have the right to delete off topic threads that are designed just to infuriate people.

Sorry to hear about that run in with those haters Dragon. I think that many people here have had experiences with REAL Nazis, and those were not good ones. I being just one of those people. So I will stop the Nazi thing if it hurts so many people. It was merely used for effect. I don't think that anyone is a Nazi here but I do think that many of you are being rash and unfair.

I understand that you can't knowingly post false info. Yet I know that the info posted was not knowingly known to be false. At least not yet. I have asked those who think it is to prove so, and they have not been able to do so as of yet. So please. Do so, or give up and admit that you are wrong.

Why is there language censorship? Our speech is limited on ATS? Where we can't say a bad word without it being changed to something different. This forum is a majority of just about all adults, or people who will soon be adults. So why can't we swear? We're talking about serious topics and no swearing? We shouldn't have our speech limited, specially not on ATS.....

I can accept that the topic that guy started was somewhat controversal and may have made a few people mad. Yet if they can't handle the heat then they should get out of the kitchen. No one is forcing them to believe anything. However someone is forcing others NOT to believe something. Well not really forcing them not to believe. But NOT allowing them the chance to believe. Now do you see where the freedoms are lost??? Now do you get it????

There has to be some kind of moderating on ATS or it would be complete out-of-control chaos like alot of other discussion forums and thats one of the things that makes ATS so appealing, that its organized.

AV, how many "conspiracies" have we seen come and go since we've been on here and in the end they always turn out to be nothing. Deleting that user was a judgement call and you just have to trust that the admin/mod's have the best interests of the members in mind.

You are no longer allowed to post on this forum until I receive an intelligent, lucid U2U from you regarding your behavior and apologizing for going against a direct request of forum Administration.

I was able to determine Kowalski's AIM SN and had a brief chat with him. Not knowing who I was, he admitted the ruse on ATS was all a joke "he and his mates" were playing. I placed a posting ban on Kowalski, and sent a U2U asking him if he would like to stop the nonsense and become a regular adult member of ATS, if so, I would remove the ban.

But no, that private opportunity to save face and become a member is now lost thanks to Abraham Virtue. Not only is he incapable of not turning a simple event into a grand scheme of twisted censorship and conspiracy, he is not able to be trusted with a minor request.
