These people are crazy!

Straight-up CRAZY!!

There's another tentacle that was not mentioned in the previous summaries. It seems a certain Democratic Socialist politico Kamala Harris (a friend of Smollett, surprise) had a stalled bill in Congress. An "Anti-Lynching Bill", that seemed to suddenly get traction following this event.....imagine that....just a coincidence, right??

Oh, and another thing about this bill, is there is nothing in it about lynching. Nothing. It deals with making illegal things and acts that are already illegal under different statues. There is one section, about online statements resulting in the physical harm of another that is a bit unique. However, it seem to me, and others here, that the bill is simply a Red Herring to be used as a trap for the president. If it gets to his desk, and he veto's it (which he should based upon its content IMO) then they can loudly proclaim, "Trump is for lynchings, he veto'd this bill!! OMG!!!".

Yeah, nothing to see here, no incentive to create a false flag lynching............

Who else besides me would like to see Smollett on the cover of Time Magazine--along with the title '2019 Courage Failure of the Year Award'?

Yeah, that will happen--and monkeys will fly out of my butt [eye roll]

Personally, I think the Oscar Committee should add a new award category, "Best Performance in a Hoax". Then at least he would be considered for a participation trophy to give him some "self-esteem".

I don't know about falsely reporting a crime, if the reports are true it must be conspiracy to commit a crime: A whole different ballgame.

Just think if Cortez’ anti air travel was passed they couldn’t flee so fast. They would have to disappear into Mexico, or Canada.

Ellen Page leaves Colbert speechless with viral anti-Trump speech

She’s quite the little actress. Remember they do it for a living. She’s going on about all the marginalized people in the world. As if that somehow has something to do with Pence in Indiana. I’ve really had enough of these Hollywood self righteous activists moralizing at us while producing some of the most vile and violent movies.

I have come to grips with this reality and knew he was lying from day one, and you ask how I knew?

If the MSM spotlighted this case it is a....wait for it....[LIE]

If the MSM did not and say a unknown internet sight spotlighted it.... truth!

Pretty easy this day and age in getting to know the truth...just wait for the MSM and within a day you have your answer..

And the distancing of Smollett has begun. They are now starting to cover their collective butts.....

I'm out of touch. I'm still stuck in the 90's. Never seen an episode of Empire but I remember those fun days when I worked with Jussie Smollett and his family..and when Lee Daniels was my manager. I'd like to remain in the 80's and 90's, if you don't mind.

False racism, hate crime, or sexual assault accusations need to be met with serious consequences.

Not only do they undermine discussion and belief surrounding real victims, they also continue division and hate in our society.

It’s profoundly sociopathic and selfish to weaponize sensitive racial and gender history for one’s own political or personal ends.

Especially days before "Black History Month" where the focus would be upon black historic figures that have done positive things for the world. This type of thing really gives that effort a negative connotation, and diminishes it's importance.

I hereby offer my services (for a nominal fee) to any lefty power broker who wants some really beleiveable oppressive scenarios.

If you want a narrative that isn't immediately scoffed at, you're going to have to come up with much more plausible circumstances.

With the crap you (whomever you may be) have been shovelling at the American population, I just gotta think that you would rather have some realistic life events that don't instantly scream FAKE than to keep up your miserable attempts with this unutterably unbelievable pap.

I'll sign whatever NdA you care to craft and you supply the stooges to carry out the happening. I take no responsibility for poor execution, that's all on your people.

Sincerely,
j&c

Here is a heartfelt admission of the struggle to escape TDS and the programming of the media. This editorial was written by Nana Efua Mumford, the executive assistant to The Post’s editorial board. She, originally from Chicago, makes many very good points in this editorial. However, the most compelling statement comes at the end. Where she confesses,

If Smollett’s story is found to be untrue, it will cause irreparable damage to the communities most affected. Smollett would be the first example skeptics cite when they say we should be dubious of victims who step forward to share their experiences of racist hate crimes or sexual violence. The incident would be touted as proof that there is a leftist conspiracy to cast Trump supporters as violent, murderous racists. It would be the very embodiment of “fake news.”

And that reason, more than any other, is why I need this story to be true, despite its ugliness and despite what it would say about the danger of the world I live in. The damage done would be too deep and long-lasting. This could be one tragedy that the Lyon family — and more importantly, the ordinary people who loved the show and invested in Smollett and his character — could never overcome.

The Washington Post: I doubted Jussie Smollett. It breaks my heart that I might be right.

This is an example of the struggle to remain in the TDS bubble, and refuse to admit that the lies and "fake news" actually exists. It is a struggle to not agree with the president, and accept that he might be right about calling the media the enemy and great divider of the country. Perhaps, with this latest development, and if it does come down to Smollett being charged for orchestrating this event, she and others can look past the emotions and triggers to report the real news, and not rush to belief and knee-jerk emotional reactions before facts have a chance to emerge.

Nah......... Never happen in my lifetime.

But I do have "hope and change" happens.

The best part about the Smollett saga, apart from it waking normies up to T.D.S., is that he mailed a fake threat to the set of Empire... through the postal system...

Making this a FEDERAL Crime as well.

More distancing from prior defenders............it's now a political hot potato for the Dems.....

New Jersey Democratic Sen. Cory Booker declined on Sunday to comment directly on reports that police believe actor Jussie Smollett paid two men to carry out a hoax assault on himself last month.

Cory Booker says he won't comment further on Smollett case until more information comes out

That should have been his strategy from day one!! Refrain form commenting until the facts are out and it is confirmed. However, by that time his opportunity to push the Anti-Lynching legislation through would have been past.

Yeah, no coincidence here....move along.

Booker for 2020! /sarc

Monico is no longer representing #JussieSmollett. Per @RoeConn “A source with direct knowledge says there was a disagreement about the decision to release yesterday’s statement. He is now represented by Chicago attorneys Victor Henderson and Todd Pugh”

So in their rush to judgment to blame the president and his supporters no apologies?

And even if it is a hoax it's somehow still Trump's fault!

Smollett was so traumatized by Trump and his supporters that he felt like he had to stage this racist attack to get back at Trump and his supporters.

Yep that could work!

Oh not only are there no apologies, people like Fat Stelter and SE Cupp of CNN are blaming Trump supporters for being gleeful it was a hoax... and suggesting politics should be left out of such matters. No really, they said that. They really did.

So, in other words, she hopes and prays the story is true so she and so many others can continue on with their terminal cases of TDS.

Interesting.
