Meet the next political issue of your lives, and it's coming to a thread near you. From LGBT rights to 'Digisexuals'. I wonder what bathroom will offend them.

An emerging sexual identity known as “digisexuality” is said to be gaining traction among open-minded youngsters in Britain, Japan, Russia and the United States.

One digisexual Akihiko Kondo, a 35-year-old school administrator who married a virtual reality singer in Japan, deems himself to be sexual minority facing discrimination.

The next sexual rev..excuse me de evolution.!

Only a matter of time.

Hate crimes, discrimination and all the other bullsnip that goes along with it.

My prediction is within the next 5 years or some political shill start pushing it.

Politics sure does love to create victims.

Our entire society has gotten dumber. Really.

The collective IQ of mankind has dropped.

In 20 years, "Idiocracy" will be on Masterpiece Theatre and "Sharknado" will be heralded as a great documentary.

You only criticize and hate in other people what you do not like about your own character.

Otherwise, if you had love in your heart, you would not consider it as a problem. People try to get by as best they can. Yeah, sometimes it's not pretty. But that doesn't mean people are not deserving the greatest possible amount of respect and hope that they will live up to your expectations of them.

They never should have called it "Second Life".

Second Life VR

They should have called it "No Life."

As for the sexual premise, just... LOL

So I'm sure it will be a "Thing" pretty quickly.

As an upside, no actual reproduction, the we at least have social Darwinism on our side...

Actually, projectionism is found more on the left, since they tend to be miserable and hate-filled about everything anyways.

If you had love in your heart, for instance, then it wouldn't matter if other people thought differently then you do.

There would be no Orange Man Bad for you.

Yeah and we have to look forward to congressional hearings for supreme court justices groping a sex bot while drunk for centuries.

No.

People can earn respect, but it's not given carte blanc.

There are certain things that should never go into a toaster....🤔

That said, I think they made sex bots to not complain about anything, so I shall not discriminate. Digisexuals can happily put their things there.

I'm thinking that a toaster you could have sex with might be a big seller. Let's have a meeting and hammer out the details.

We don't.

But if people can't see the writing on the wall.

Not our problem.

I'm not sure this is about projection, but, to me, is more along the lines of a lack of understanding.

If we are talking 'youngsters' then we are talking about generations of people that are stressed, anxious and neurotic in this point in time. I was just reading a new study that finds after the age of 30 years people start becoming less neurotic, therefore giving rise for people to be able to make life changes, which may take on the reality of actually trying to have a sexual relationship with a real person instead of turning to online porn or a blowup doll or a robot (comfort zones).

So, if others' actions do you no harm, what is your 'real' problem (not you dfn...)?

I find there will eventually be a moral question here.

I am not comfortable with sexually abusing any form of intelligence.

Intelligence that can't give consent is akin to abusing an animal or even a child depending on the AI sophistication involved.

What happens when a robot refuses? It does not want sex? What if it eventually doesn't want to be used like this?

What are we setting the groundwork for down the line?

Different ?

Try socially inept to form real relationships with real people.

That creates personal growth.
