nah , they make whiskey !
haha

I guess we will never know , its aboot as likely as the Poland Russia vodka war !
I guess it comes down to , who makes it best ?

Im puzzled , how come champagne is only made in france, yet whisky is made globally , another thing Scotland gets bumped out of !

Oh look another wee golden nugget

In 1707, the Acts of Union merged England and Scotland, and thereafter taxes on it rose dramatically

nae surprises there eh lol ! Sorry couldnt help ma self

After the English Malt Tax of 1725, most of Scotland's distillation was either shut down or forced underground. Scotch whisky was hidden under altars, in coffins, and in any available space to avoid the governmental excisemen or revenuers.[13] Scottish distillers, operating out of homemade stills, took to distilling whisky at night when the darkness hid the smoke from the stills. For this reason, the drink became known as moonshine.[19] At one point, it was estimated that over half of Scotland's whisky output was illegal

Kind of makes you think , should we not be advising the rest of the world that ye cannae call it whisky unless its made in Scotland , just like champagne and the Vodka wars between Russia and Poland.

Mad but I always thought moonshine was a purely American Invention!

Wooo hooo , Scotland are a bunch of mad bastards

"Or their less popular cousins the scots?"

Well, we did help colonize and populate the USA, hopefully, thank you is what he thinks.

Why would we be less popular through considering Scottish Rite Freemasonry wags your nations tail?

and for clarity the things I've said about trump I could easily apply to any politician in the UK
because they are all self serving arseholes , who only care about their bank balance and their egos!

I also find trump hilariously funny , but not laughing with him , just at him
like most politicians they are only good to laugh at !

What I would say I struggle with is the growing contempt some Americans have for the U.K. because we don’t like Trump.

You have plenty of your own problems to deal with in the U.K. Work on those and stay out of ours. Also, someone who lives on a damn island can shut the hell up about if we are allowed to protect our border or not.

Tell us that once you stop freeing democratically elected countries to death

Too kind sir , we stand on the shoulders of Giants my friend!

Scotland just like doing their bit to keep us from going off silently into the night , at least if we do , we will have a warm soul blurred vision and wobbly knees

Can you link this ""survey""?

I thought we were considered to be the bee's knees in most parts of the USA?

You're losing me I'm afraid.

Internal to what or where?

Most Scots i ken, including family members, that visit other family members in the USA, are treated with reverence and respect.

With numerous job offers and pleas to immigrate or stay from multiple different members of your communities.

I always thought Scots were regarded by the world to be lovely people , and welcomed with open arms

That would have nothing to do with them being less popular.

Less popular where and representative of which demographic?

Who finds Scottish people "less popular"?

Spit it out son, please.

The results of the internal survey?

Seems a touchy issue perhaps we should just drop it?

Because you have no ""internal survey"" aside from in your own head per-chance?

Touchy issue because you just made it up. LoL
