Every now and again some light hearted mirth raises a titter

At a recent football (no not soccer as we use our feet thus football) match the tannoy announcer made a call for the car with registration NE14 ABJ, surprisingly there was more than one person claiming yes

That's funny as hell, lol. I've never heard of the license plate prank here in the states so I got a good laugh out of it. Also, it's just refreshing to hear a story where good ole' humor can be just that. I have to applaud the way Fylde Stadium officials handled the whole thing, too..very classy.

feel free to use it at your local sports stadium, I heard the announcer on radio today and he had taken it in good humour, its similar to when people send in things to the radio and use crazy name such as Chris P Bacon (mmmm) or Richard Long (arent we all) all stemming from the classic Michael Hunt

Oh no US football is not football, there is only 1 bloody kicker, we play football in Europe, in the US they play throw and catchball
