Looks like some investigators found the real story about the famous Covington Catholic incident a while back.

After a grueling investigation, they found the Kids did nothing to provoke anybody.

MSM had a different "tone" didn't they.

Greater Cincinnati Investigations issued a report dated Feb. 11 that found no evidence that students from Covington Catholic made “offensive or racist” statements to either Black Hebrew Israelites or Native American tribe members gathered on the National Mall.

“The statements we obtained from students and chaperones are remarkably consistent,” the investigators said. “And, the statements are consistent with the videos we reviewed.”

Serves the "news' outlets and the mouth-breathing sycophants that call themselves "Progressives" right.

But, the damage was done, the REAL story is irrelevant.

All that matters is the initial narrative, the one that gets hammered repeatedly night and day for the first week.

Burning it into people minds, so anytime they hear the right trigger words their brain recalls the narrative like reciting lines from a script.

Then we should probably take a harder look at why crap like this spreads so fast, namely the monopolistic "news" empire.

I could see people initially getting down on the kids, but once evidence came out that contridicted what was being shown on MSM.....MSM should have immediately and broadly told the truth about the incident so everyone would hear the truth. But they didn't, they are liable of slandering these kids. There will always be people who do not believe the real truth about these kids, they were convinced these youth and the Catholic church in that town is evil. I hope this kid wins every single lawsuit to help insure that fake news does not hurt people anymore.

I have seen our local media even negatively effect people by publishing one side of the story when in fact the truth was just the opposite of what the news said. Of course a front page story gets a small twenty line retraction on the third page under the obituaries concerning their mistake. Meanwhile the person gets their life ruined in their community sometimes for trying to do something to help someone.

Facebok. Which the kids don't use anymore- it's been taken over by Gen X (my generation- people in their 30's and 40's) AND our parents. (My 73 year old MOM stalks me and stalks her grandkids on Facebook).

But this Covington lie was all around FB within minutes of wherever it appeared first. Maybe FB. But I saw people in my age group, one after the other, post long diatribes about how horrendous and terrible these boys were and how they should have to make a public apology, etc.

I've seen NONE of those virtue signalers making posts about how the MSM should have to make a public apology to the boys. And their school.
