So a camera man was attacked at a Trump Rally. It surely could have been worse, but none the less, this attack was unprovoked. With all of the Videos that are posted on ATS, it always seems to be the left( or really just people who are different) who are singled out here. I have seen plenty of videos, especially of white woman, attacking Blacks and others. This Post is not about that, I am just providing some insight. BOTH sides have some crazy people.

Another View.

Update, the man may not be charged.

The El Paso District Attorney’s office has not yet not decided to press charges against the belligerent Trump supporter who apparently shoved several news crews and “violently pushed” a BBC cameraman during the president’s Monday evening rally near the border.

In video captured of the incident, the screaming Trump supporter, wearing a red Make America Great Again hat, shoved BBC cameraman Ron Skeans off-balance before being restrained and removed by security, while screaming “# the media.”

“We have not reviewed any material from law enforcement for charges at this time,” a district attorney spokesperson said on Tuesday. "No charges will be filed until we do."

The White House responded to the attack.

The president, repeatedly bashes the media. He calls the Media the enemy, just like Nixon did. Oh yes this has all been done before, with Nixon. Nixon wanted to black the press out, he also called the media the enemy. The media was doing there job then, just like most of them are now. Yes there is false reporting, but on both sides.

Nixon, did not mind the media till Watergate, that is when he turned on them. Just like Trump has now.

The distrust filtered throughout his administration: As vice president, Spiro Agnew was instructed to give speeches attacking the media, referring to reporters, editors, and publishers as “small and unelected elite” who possess “broad…powers of choice” and “decide what forty to fifty-million Americans will learn of the day’s events in the nation and the world.” According to Agnew, there was “a widening credibility gap…between the national news media and the American people.”

Was this person arrested and charged?
People involved in watergate were arrested and charged.
Are you implying that the president sent this person to assault a cameraman?

The incident is a sad indictment on the mentality of some Trump supporters , hear the boo's ring out when the chosen one mentions the media , sad.

Is there a full length video that shows his actions prior to the incident?

We should wait for the full story to emerge, and not get reactionary out of the gate. After all, the media and those with an agenda would never tailor a clip to support their biased narrative, right?

Why would you think I thought he was told to attack the camera man. The backstory is this attack happened right after the president, finished bashing the media.

No, Trump did not, nor did anyone else tell him to attack. As far as I know, he was only escorted out, I will look into charges though.

Of course there will be a few crazy people who wear MAGA hats, they want to be part of a group and will wear whatever the group is wearing to appear normal. I do not know what went on there, for all I know the camera guy could have instigated something or maybe the guy in the MAGA hat was just a jerk or drunk. I do not see this even being touted as political. The vast majority of the people at that rally were peaceful and probably went there just so they could actually meet a standing president.

We do not know exactly how the fight got started, I won't even attempt to judge someone until I hear the whole story and even then, there is often other evidence that shows the opposite actually occurred.

Not that I have found, although the entire Rally is on YouTube, I am pretty sure.

The problem is that Trump calls every media that gives him negative coverage "fake news". And news networks that praise Trump are considered not fake news. Such as FOX, OAN, and even alt right infowars at one time.

Then his silly followers take this complete bias to heart. Now, Fox is considered non-bias news to them, as I've seen many say on here.

Trump is able to convince his followers that any news organization that doesn't support him is fake news.

Why would you think I thought he was told to attack the camera man.

Why would you bring up watergate, which involved a burglary, in an alleged assault case?
Uninspired attempt at smearing the president now that the russia hoax has been dismissed by congress?

The backstory is this attack happened right after the president, finished bashing the media.

oh
so no one had bashed the media prior?
it was somehow trumps wizard powers at this point in time that made this person attack the bbc cameraman?
why not the cnn media reps? trump really hates those guys?

I would be interested to find out if the guy was arrested.
Are you sure bbc didn't stage all this to get attention?

Even MSNBC and CNN barely covered this yesterday in their Anti-Trump discussions.

Immediately after the altercation happened, BBC was (or course) first to put it on their Twitter feed. They labeled it as an extremely violent mauling of their cameraman. Hope they've re-worded that tweet!

Democrat operatives have been proven to send agitators into Trump rallies. It’s quite possibly a dem in a maga hat.

Mr. Creamer is not seen on the Project Veritas videos approving or endorsing plans to instigate fights at Trump rallies, but his underling, Mr. Foval, is shown boasting about using unseemly methods, like planting people at the gatherings to agitate the crowd.

Videos put Dems on Defensive about Dirty Tricks

Little is mentioned about the Trump supporter stopping the violent agitator and protecting the BBC cameraman.

I want to hear the entire story as to what happened PRIOR to the dust up. As we know, it is not above left leaning media to put out fake stories with edited videos and no context...

Your use of the adjective "silly" nullifies your statement IMO. Since, you obviously think that anyone that supports the president is "silly" and therefore worth your scorn. Why are you putting yourself above others? Is it a deep seeded need to feel superior or just being a dick about it?

The media needs a good bashing. Although verbally instead of physically.

So called journalists have lost their rep. Even the BBC is biased towards left wing idealism.

Considering how many people were there, you'd expect it to be worse based on how the media and many others label those who show up at Trump rallies.

Seemed like a civil bunch.

That's just context. They could have meant only his followers that happen to be silly.

Context.

People can lambast the Press, they can't assault anyone while doing that.

If charges are warrented, then let them be arrested.

Violence isn't a way to solve things like this.

People need to be better than that.
