If the Democrats want to win they cant base their campaign on "trump sucks".

Agreed, like I said in the OP I think that was their biggest mistake in the 2016 election and I think that this time they are going to learn from that mistake.

Based on what?

These democrat congress people are trying to open every investigation on him they can. The only new ideas being floated seem to be the insane Green New Deal, identity politics, socialism, and late term abortion.

If you think that is a winning hand - well if it is this country has gone to hell.

Well they might not learn form it, they could roll out Clinton again and have her call everyone deplorable's.

I just think that they will have learned from the previous election that that approach didn't work and change their tactics accordingly. Can't really say though until the Democratic nominee is decided though.

Most of them had Hillary winning, or in other words, Donald Trump losing. They weren’t accurate at all.

Well they are never 100% accurate but if you look at it in terms of popular vote then the spit was about 46% for Trump with about 48% for Clinton so pretty accurate from that point of view.

Regardless, Trump has still been unpopular along all polls since he took office, you can't dismiss this as just being inaccurate polling when all the individual pollsters are drawing the same conclusions.

The fact remains: the entire polling industry was unable to correctly forecast the result. You can’t just accept this as being accurate polling.

There's no way to know or predict and everyone has an opinion. Giving the opinion usually reveals political leanings too. I'm sure there's a few Republicans out there somewhere that don't think he'll be re-elected unfortunately but support him 100%. For the most part, no one who's passionate about him or the GOP keeping the Presidency through him is going to look at it that way or talk about it in that manner.

Especially with Trump's style, because it's a very all-in culture. Not as much with his more educated supporters, but with the bulk lot of them he has a personality cult of sorts. Very propaganda heavy and based on what he says and how he's postured when he says it, over and over where applicable keeping it as a high priority issue. You're either really into him and treat his words and decisions like he can never do wrong, is always right, or you're a smaller minority of Republicans who enjoy the majority and back him because he's President, but that's about it. The problem with his style IMO as we recently saw with the first shutdown is that he ends up in a corner, almost unable to back down, because he can't take a loss or look overpowered or was defeated, especially cant look wrong, because it damages his leadership badly due to the way he talks and postures, the aura he's made. One epic defeat, one time looking embarassingly wrong, and he's weakened severely.

Dude the polls were showing them both being around the 45% mark with Clinton usually a few points ahead of Trump, now am not going to go through all of it and work out the averages but the point is when you look at the popular vote they were resealable accurate.

They never predict with 100% accuracy.

Nothing, nothing at all, like you said you make threads for no reason at all, and make statemats that mean nothing.

Why are you defensive all of a sudden?

There are several legal classifications of people other than citizens.

You mean other than non citizen?

Name some others, please.

I am not the best person to answer the question but immigrant comes to mind.

Yup and you do the exact same I guess, I mean I write threads because I enjoy the discussion that follows, not because I think that they matter or have some profound meaning.

Is immigrant a legal classification? I don’t believe it is.

Citizen is, non citizen is....

Help me out here.

Trump is a two term president.

No he might be a two term president, he could be a two term president or he could get beat and be leaving office after his first term.

In your opinion he might be a two term president, you could say that in your opinion he will be a two term president because.....reasons am sure you have...

But it is not a fact, at least at this time, that Trump will be a two term president because he could lose the election.

It’s a fact.
He’s going to win.

I’m sorry.

I mean how are you going to look if he loses the election?

A bit like you did when he won in 2016. It wasn't a good look.

The polls were skewed to a political bias.

It's par for the course.

But all of the polls even those with a more right wing bias reach broadly the same conclusions.

And again and again and again.

I don't know you UKTruth but it's pretty clear to me that we are two Brits who can see through the lies, the bias and the agendas.

Do I trust Trump? Not at all but I think it's pathetic watching these leftist desperadoes clutching at straws.
