lol more crap

2 of those listed are seeking the nomination of the democratic party to run for president in 2020

you can pretend it is not a democratic ideal
it now is until the dems remove those from their party

Sorry but the idea of open border and no immigration enforcement agency is laughably absurd and nobody is going to run on that platform. They would run on REFORM of ICE and border policies.

This is just alarmist nonsense based on the slippery slope fallacy. OMG don't vote Democrat! They want to steal all your money and guns and open the border. It's just pandering to fear with sensationalism.

Do we lead the world in anything other than military size and national debt? I get that you love your catch phrases and slogans, but how is that even close to true?

I'm afraid that he may not get a second term myself. Im skeptical about it too sweet the least. He will be by far the best candidate for 2020, but media as a 90% majority is against him. Big screen, idiot box, news, anything comedy, music, you name it. He's got Fox News, a few online magazines, and parts of social media.

I'll vote for him for sure. I pray he wins again!

Trump 2020!

I dont think I can even give a percentage chance that I believe Trump currently has to win re-election because there are so many variables still at play. Should the final Mueller report come out before election season, that is going to produce a massive swing one way or another, depending on what his findings show. If they find him to be guilty with evidence it will likely take a small percentage of out of his hardcore base, and will likely sway moderate republicans and independents against him. If it finds he is not directly guilty of anything it will strengthen his base a little bit and make it likely that moderate republicans and some independents will support him over the Dem challenger.

The candidate the Dems go with is a big factor too. If they pick someone Hillary like, or someone that the Right Wing News has already made a punching bag (though that will be whoever is chosen), the ones they can stick the most too with definitely nose. Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, possibly Klobuchar, and possibly Biden I believe will lose if chosen for sure. Possibly Beto as well, but Beto may have enough pull to sway people.

Charles Schultz also seems to be very committed to sticking to this right now and may have an effect.

How can anyone go near anything Democrat?

Open borders
Abolish ice
More socialized handouts
Radical environmental and health plans
Late term abortion

Biggest groups to organize and turn up in droves for the blue wave are

BLM
Antifa
LGBTQ
Muslims
Illegal aliens
Hollyweird

People should be freaking running from anything dumbocrat

This is a complete load of CRAP.

Democrats do not want open borders or to abolish ICE. LMAO! They just don't want to waste money on a wall that will require upkeep and maintenance for centuries, putting us in even more debt than we already are (record level 24 TRILLION in debt), when illegal immigration has been declining for the last decade and 60% of them come via airplane. They also don't think it is humane to take kids away from their parents when detained. That doesn't mean open borders and no ICE.

Republicans are basically the old white Christian party. Look at their diversity in congress (lack thereof). Most of them are old white Christians, while on the Democrat side they have tons of racial and religious diversity. Funny how you see diversity as a negative. Conservatives live in fear, basically. OMG minorities in positions of power?? NO WAY!!!

LMAO @ socialized handouts, while republicans just throw 900 BILLION right out of national debt at military contractors last year ALONE on TOP of the existing absurdly large military budget. You are against socialism but have no problem with THAT? It's the same thing. Funny how unwilling you guys are to put money into healthcare, science and education and claim it is socialism, yet have no problem with military taking up the majority of our budget and throwing almost a trillion at war contractors. How sad is that?

Anybody who is against preserving the environment is a clown. Climate change science is real and republicans are the party of "alt facts," but ignore REAL facts. It's hilarious how much they hate our future and only care about making $$$$ now and keeping those big corporations unrelated and having big political influence.

Conservatives are really on edge these days, LOL!

You dont see that beto guy call for opening borders..?

You don't see Kamala Harris talk about ablosihing ice

We dont hear Democrats turn to more socialism with promises of free college, free health care. Free income for the unwilling to work?

All those groups I mentioned are not hardcore Democrat voters?

Our freaky democrat groups are freaky but pale in comparison to those guys.
Even the brits are attempting to remove themselves from that socialist pit.

Scary to imagine... what made them go so radically left over the years?

This is a complete load of CRAP.

I agree
Perhaps a simple search is in order...
oh hey
lookie here

www.cnn.com...

More Democrats have joined the growing list of names who want to abolish US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, more commonly known as ICE. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who beat Democratic Rep. Joe Crowley of New York in the primary last week, ran on a platform of abolishing the agency, and so far, more lawmakers have echoed her call. Rep. Mark Pocan of Wisconsin said he would introduce legislation that would dismantle ICE and create a commission to provide recommendations to Congress on how the government "can implement a humane immigration enforcement system," according to a statement.

Here's a look at the lawmakers who have said they want to abolish the agency:
Senators
Kirsten Gillibrand of New York
Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts

House members
Mark Pocan of Wisconsin
Earl Blumenauer of Oregon
Jim McGovern of Massachusetts
Rep. Nydia Velázquez of New York
Raul Grijalva of Arizona
Adriano Espaillat of New York

This is a complete load of CRAP.
Democrats do not want open borders or to abolish ICE. LMAO!

It appears they do want to abolish ICE

LMAO

Well done.

The left just pops off BS and doesn't care if it is true, only if it sounds like a way to look superior.

Absolutely insane of them to think people with firing brain cells would buy into their BS.

That is Orwellian speak. NAZI's, Soviets, Pol Pot, and the Chicom's all practice(d) Orwellian speak too.

Polls mean nothing and can be doctored. Here is a site with several polls altogether and they vary. between 30-50 (yes, one is graded at 50%) is the result. Trump Polls

This is something that I think could be interesting to discuss before the full campaign cycle really kicks off. I have noticed not just on ATS but just online in general that there is this idea that Trump will win 2020. Its talked about by some of his supporters as if it’s an inevitability, not only that but that he will have some kind of massive majority.

Now while I would never go as far to say that he doesn’t stand a chance and will never serve a second term, I am also not in the camp that says he is definitely going to win. I think anyone making such predictions is really just asking to wind up with egg on their face. So, while I do not intend to present any predictions about what will happen, I do also think it’s a good time to point out several indicators that seem to suggest at this early stage that Trump winning could be less likely than some of his supporters like to pretend.

The primary issue really is with Trumps overall popularity, I have written before on ATS about how unpopular Trump is and he remains an unpopular president. His collective approval rating remains below 50%, currently at 40%, and again, he is the first president in modern times whose approval rating has almost never been above 50%. A staggering statistic to look at. Now while the mid-terms might not have been quite as big of a defeat as expected it was still a defeat, he lost the house. Other indicators have reported that he also lost some support among his core supporters over the recent government shut down and with another potentially looming this impact come election day has the potential to grow.

Then we also need to look at voter demographics. I personally believe that the Dems back in 2016 feel victim to their own hubris, they believed that they didn’t need to do all that much because there was no way that Trump would win, this despite polls showing the two candidates almost neck and neck before election day. They simply went in with an arrogant belief that they didn’t need to do much to win over voters, they didn’t need any big sexy promises. At times the democrats seemed to be almost sitting back and had the attitude that if he says enough stupid stuff, they won’t need to do anything. There must have been an element of the electorate who just didn’t bother voting because there was no way that Clinton would lose anyway…. oh, how every wrong they were. I think that this has been a lesson learned and you can bet that the Dems are going to come out firing as election day draws closer and voter turnout, I would think would be much higher than 55%. Remember Trump lost the popular vote by the biggest margin in history while still winning the presidency.

There are probably other points I could get into but my only point with this thread is just to highlight to Trump’s supporters that while you may very well want him to win a second term, while you might believe it could happen, it’s not something that can be thought of as being an inevitability. Quite often the language that I hear around 2020 makes it sound like a win is already in the bag and that is almost what I think happened with the Clinton supporters back in 2016.

With the agenda that the radial left keeps putting forward, it's going to be a SLAUGHTER, and not in their favor. People that I personally know that have stayed out of the political storm are now openly asking questions, like "Ok, where do I register to vote? These people are INSANE!!"

SLAUGHTER.

Fred..
