Bah, the wall is one of the few things I agree with him on. ILLEGAL immigration is an issue. If he stops fighting for that, then he's basically selling out our country.

I don't see how it's really an issue, when it has been steadily declining over the past decade. It's not national emergency worthy, and in reality most illegal immigrants come via plane and just overstay their Visas.

It will be scarier if they get their way and go euro retard socialist.
Our freaky democrat groups are freaky but pale in comparison to those guys.

How can anyone go near anything Democrat?

Open borders
Abolish ice
More socialized handouts
Radical environmental and health plans
Late term abortion

Biggest groups to organize and turn up in droves for the blue wave are

BLM
Antifa
LGBTQ
Muslims
Illegal aliens
Hollyweird

People should be freaking running from anything dumbocrat

This is a complete load of CRAP.

Democrats do not want open borders or to abolish ICE. LMAO! They just don't want to waste money on a wall that will require upkeep and maintenance for centuries, putting us in even more debt than we already are (record level 24 TRILLION in debt), when illegal immigration has been declining for the last decade and 60% of them come via airplane. They also don't think it is humane to take kids away from their parents when detained. That doesn't mean open borders and no ICE.

Republicans are basically the old white Christian party. Look at their diversity in congress (lack thereof). Most of them are old white Christians, while on the Democrat side they have tons of racial and religious diversity. Funny how you see diversity as a negative. Conservatives live in fear, basically. OMG minorities in positions of power?? NO WAY!!!

LMAO @ socialized handouts, while republicans just throw 900 BILLION right out of national debt at military contractors last year ALONE on TOP of the existing absurdly large military budget. You are against socialism but have no problem with THAT? It's the same thing. Funny how unwilling you guys are to put money into healthcare, science and education and claim it is socialism, yet have no problem with military taking up the majority of our budget and throwing almost a trillion at war contractors. How sad is that?

Anybody who is against preserving the environment is a clown. Climate change science is real and republicans are the party of "alt facts," but ignore REAL facts. It's hilarious how much they hate our future and only care about making $$$$ now and keeping those big corporations unrelated and having big political influence.

Conservatives are really on edge these days, LOL!

I disagree.

"Steadily declining" doesn't make it any less of a threat and yes, it is a national emergency in the humanitarian sense such as drug trafficking and associated methods, human trafficking as well as dangerous border crossings in the more desolate areas.

Money, Blood and Tears, that's the reality.

Coming via plane is just one perspective, increase your mental bandwidth to compensate for dynamics and multiple views on potential ways into the US besides a simple "meh, plane bruhs" 🙄

It seems that several of those countries you're so scared of are objectively doing better than the US, in a lot of measurable metrics.
Why are you so scared of keeping up with the rest of the world?

I agree
Perhaps a simple search is in order...
oh hey
lookie here

www.cnn.com...

More Democrats have joined the growing list of names who want to abolish US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, more commonly known as ICE. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who beat Democratic Rep. Joe Crowley of New York in the primary last week, ran on a platform of abolishing the agency, and so far, more lawmakers have echoed her call. Rep. Mark Pocan of Wisconsin said he would introduce legislation that would dismantle ICE and create a commission to provide recommendations to Congress on how the government "can implement a humane immigration enforcement system," according to a statement.

Here's a look at the lawmakers who have said they want to abolish the agency:
Senators
Kirsten Gillibrand of New York
Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts

House members
Mark Pocan of Wisconsin
Earl Blumenauer of Oregon
Jim McGovern of Massachusetts
Rep. Nydia Velázquez of New York
Raul Grijalva of Arizona
Adriano Espaillat of New York

This is a complete load of CRAP.

Steadily decline DOES make it less of a threat. It is not even close to national emergency level.

No, that's not a perspective. 60% of all illegal immigrants come via plane, so building a wall is utterly asinine. Illegal immigration has been declining, and it will only address less than 40% of people currently immigrating illegally. It's not worth it and there is no crisis. The real crisis in America right now is the cost of health care and the decline in education and science.

So 12 people out of out of almost 300 Democrats??? LMAO indeed!

FYI, people that want to abolish ICE, want to do it out of emotion because of the ethics violations recently. Obviously they would replace it with something else, they wouldn't just leave the borders open and have no immigration police.

Yeah, I'm talking about the democratic party. That is not a popular position among democrats. Like I said 12 out of almost 300 support that. Plus ICE would obviously be replaced by another agency if abolished, but that has literally no chance of happening and is not a Democrat party position.

I'm not scared of the results of the Venezuela disaster, because that was perpetrated by a pseudo-dictator, not Socialism.
Also, why be scared of the results of one country, when there are several others that are objectively doing great.

A couple posts ago you referred to the entire continent of Europe as Socialist. Why didn't you list all of those countries as failures along with Venezuela? Oh, because they aren't failures? I see.
ETA: Most people I'm aware of aren't even calling for PURE Socialism anyway, so the entire argument is a strawman.

"The leader of the free world" is title given to the POTUS for decades. I'm of the opinion that it doesn't fit anymore. The POTUS (any POTUS) is that only in name now. Many countries have surpassed the US in Education, life expectancy, happiness, overall health, decreased infant mortality, etc etc etc.

We're allowed to have differences in opinion. However, the statistics mentioned in my link are objective facts, they aren't opinion. The US is not the greatest country in the world anymore.

Unless you're counting incarceration rate and obesity (which we're rapidly rising the ranks in, being #12 behind island states and a few middle eastern countries).

LOL @ stealth edit. Nothing stealthy there, you replied within 3 minutes of me posting. Nothing was made up. Abolishing ICE is NOT a stance of the democratic party. That's like saying that abolishing separation of church and state is a republican stance when only a handful of people support that. Again 12 out of 300+ democrats.

Even the results of Venezuela are not enough to council those in favor of socialism.
Not surprising.
Won't happen here though.
Interesting you declined to answer why the brits are running from the euro sinking ship of socialism.
Any opinion of the crisis in greece, or italy? Or of the yellow vests in france?
yeah great examples of socialist success right?
or will you hold up the shining success of north korea as an example?

OH and the US is still the greatest country in the world, even barak himself could not destroy that.
Sorry you seem to think otherwise.

By what measure is the US the greatest country in the world? If you think that it is, why do you think that?

I have no idea why GB is leaving, I'm not British and I don't know much about Brexit. Most likely because they no longer wanted to be part of the business trusts/deals laid out in the EU, but I could be wrong.

Greece: It was spending more than it was taking in. The population isn't large enough to make up for the amount that it borrowed.
Italy: The government is radically Populist, and they're openly attacking their own banks. Not really a socialist thing.
Yellow Vests: Rapidly rising cost of living, large financial burdens, and new tax reforms that fall squarely on the shoulders of the working class while ignoring the upper class. All things that would cause protests in most 1st world countries.

Why is Venezuela so important to your point? Because it's the only country that demonstrates a failure?

Funny how you haven't mentioned Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland, The Netherlands, etc.
Those don't fall in your category, so you ignore them.

Objectively, a lot of countries that implement the government you are afraid of are doing great. You ignore those, yet repeat "but Venezuela!" ad nauseam.

Whether or not that type of government is right for America is a completely different discussion.

The myth of Nordic socialism is partially created by a confusion between socialism, meaning government exerting control or ownership of businesses, and the welfare state in the form of government-provided social safety net programs. However, the left’s embrace of socialism is not merely a case of redefining a word. Simply look at the long-running affinity of leftists with socialist dictators in Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela for proof many on the left long for real socialism.

Still no greater nation in the world than the USA!

What is a nork? I can't touch on it if I don't know what it is.

I never said Nordic countries were pure socialism. They definitely lean more that way that America though.

And yet again, you've given zero reasons as to why you think the US is the best. To quote you: "won't touch that with a ten foot pole will ya? wonder why."

Saying it is doesn't make it so.

ETA: did a little research, realize now that you meant North Korea. Pretty derogatory, but we'll ignore that for now.
NK is a communistic state being governed by a totalitarian dictatorship.
It is the exact opposite of a Socialist government.
The fact that you threw them in there is confusing, to say the least.

Now, I'm done with the "what about this one, and this one, and this one" questions from you. You haven't answered a single one of my questions about successful countries, so this is no longer a dialogue until you meet me halfway.
