Because it's funny to some people but disgusting to others. The humor comes from knowing it will make people disgusted. Plus it's 15 minutes of fame. I doubt very much is says something truly profound about society. My theory and hunch is people will still continue to copulate and have babies because people just love to copulate. Copulation is the best thing you can do when you h ave no money.

Seems like she married the doll because it was something her late father bought for her.
