I'm tired.
Day after day the same garbage.

We have "injun" Elizabeth Warren hinting trumps going to jail..

www.mediaite.com...

We have maxine waters going after trump tax returns.

www.theamericanmirror.com...

We had several years of clowns clambering for Obama's birth certificate.

Ok, fine.
It's time to put everything on the table.
Show your cards bitches...

I want a bill put into motion right now.
The basic gist of the bill is this.

Every politician past or present "living", every candidate seeking elected office above county level must release their records to public scrutiny at minimum 6 months before the date of an election.

Not medical records.
I dont see the point of knowing that information.

Let's see Obama's college admission forms.
Let's see trumps tax returns.
Let's see all those sealed arrest reports.
Let's see those bank statements on and off shore.
Let's see those credit card bills.. who were you with that night buddy boy?

Transparency in government.

Just add it into the patriot act. We dont want any illicit past doings being held over a politician to sway favors do we...

Anything to add?
I'd hate to miss something....

The people in power will never allow it. Just like they vote to give themselves pay raises every year, they will not vote for something that takes their pay away.

Now wouldn't the dems new darling occasional kotex be on board with this exact thing?

This is right up the alley of her socialist leanings.
She claims to be all about the regular people.

I do agree that the old guard will balk at this legislation.

Pot is being legalized all over the place now.
That change is coming and most people never thought it would so why not this idea?

This would be awesome....

If we played with the hypothetical that a politician would actually throw the voters a bone in the form of knowledge, my guess would be they were just start classifying said documents under "national security".

Supposedly, this has even been done for corporations and findings of wrongdoing by them or behind closed doors litigation.

What?
That you are wrong to judge people because of their political affiliation?

Might as well be nation wide.

Though I don't see how that relates to the bill being presented by OP.

In this scenario we are asking many politicians to throw themselves under the bus.

Agreed, but many would have to support the draining of themselves for this to pass.

Maybe work in term limits along with this bill.
Go for broke so to speak....

I really think this is something both sides can agree to, or both voter bases.

I agree with you, the realist in me just doesn't have hope.

So long as our populace has only a 50% participation rate in presidential elections at best, and many of the participants using the ballot box like a confession session to absolve themselves of further participation...

I expect the status quo to continue.
